Fast and friendly service. But come prepared with the required documents - I watched people get turned away for lack of docs. And don't think that because your appointment is for a particular time that you will be seen at that time. You must register when you arrive then wait for your number to be called. We arrived early (~5 min) and waited over 30 min...

We both got there early and got in-and-out really quickly. By the time we left the line was starting to get longer. So that being said I would definitely get there earlier and I earlier in the day.

Recently moved to Washington and was very impressed by the organizing and timeliness to get my new driver's license. In and out in 35 minutes is unheard of in Texas. Only thing that was frustrating was for out of state residents trying to get an enhanced ID you need 2 physical pieces of mail instead of 1.

Can't say that I ever expected to post 5 stars for a drivers licensing location but here we are. Everyone was amazingly helpful, quick to answer questions and very understanding that people showing up here are generally confused and intimidated. Scheduling an appointment online was super easy. Showed up at my scheduled time and was called up to the counter shortly after. I unfortunately forgot the name of the employee that helped me because I'd love to give her specifically a shout-out. We got through a very tedious list of DL modifications I needed in no time at all. You don't have a many of choices in the area for drivers licensing which makes it all the more impressive that this location chooses to be so great. Top marks all around.

The customer service phone number is 360-902-3900
$89 for six years
no, you have to get it done from a school near you. i made the mistake of applying online for a permit test and they said they dont do tests.
Walk ins are on a waiting basis. The worker at the door will ask what you need, and decide if they can facilitate between appointments. I renewed my license two weeks ago. I was a walk in. You have to have a mask and they ask that you wash hands after entering ,before seating yourself to wait. I waited maybe a half hour. It was actually pretty quick.
$20 for replacement and $2 for credit card fee.
I don't know if you can call in for an appointment. I walked in for my appointment.
Yes, walk-ins are available in the East Bremerton office !
Go down in person and they will give you a printout of everything you need to do
Yes
JB 75 bucks unless you get an enhanced driver's license then it a little more. Info on WA. DOL cite
54$ for a new one or to renew an old one. 20$ to replace a lost one wich comes with a new picture and expiration date so I'd just tell them it's lost even if it isn't. An save 34$
You need to show a birth certificate or passport to upgrade to enhanced and pay more money.
yes
https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/fees.html $54
No I went yesterday and was only there about 25 min max with no appointment
Is a DMV you can get licence records you should try the courts in your area.
I think they have practice tests online but I've never heard they allow doing the real one.
Yes it is
On the left or the right of the gun store, if you don't mind my asking?
Yes
If you have it attached to your License eXpress account you can.
Current drivers license; passport or birth certificate; social security card; and two IDs/licenses, pay stubs, or bills (cell phone, utilities, etc) that show name and address. Pretty sure that's it, you can double check the DOL website to make sure.
You do technically need an appointment but I had like 60 days to wait so I just showed up early in the morning and I got on the standby list and by 11:00 I renewed my license so go on the internet and put in for your appointment but just show up anyways and a lot of people don't show up and you'll get in.
Robbie they're $78 if you've never had one before. The standard renewal driver's license is $54
They are open. You can set an appointment online or just go to Bremerton office when they open and tell em your story. They'll help u from there
I would try to book an appt online just in case they don't take walk ins
next to family pancake house
They are open by appointment only and it took me a month to get an appt. Tue-Fri 830a-500 & Sat 830-230p
I just moved to WA and needed a new driver's license. I didn't have my Texas license with me so here's what I had to do: 1. Fill out the online pre-application form. I was able to use the file shown on my phone and didn't have to print it out. 2. I had to go online to request my Texas driving records. Small fee and I had the email within minutes. This didn't require a hard copy either. I just showed it on my phone. 3. When I completed my pre-application I had to say which for of address verification I would be presenting. I selected voter registration card and jsu brought it along with #1 & #2 above. That's it. I drove over to the Breemerton license office without an appointment. I arrived at Friday about 1:30 and the place was dead so I didn't have to wait more that 2 mins. I walked out about 30 mins later with a temp ID. Good luck.
Yes. My suggestion is to hop on first thing in the morning and look 30 days out. Unfortunately, that's the best you can get.
You can sometimes walk up and be able to get in same day. Otherwise make an appointment.
Im not sure how to.buti just walked in to the office and it didnt take that long to get it done.good luck
You can get an Enhanced License at any driver licensing office, but an appointment is required. Visit www.dol.wa.gov/appointments/
Yes you have to stand in line and when it's your turn they'll give you a number as you enter the building
yes, if you want a shorter wait
No, not that i can see
Depending on why you are suspended it can be $75 for tickets or $150 for drug or alcohol offense. But then you also have to replace the license so you have to add the appropriate fee for that too. Without know your exact circumstance, its difficult to say what the total out-the-door cost will be.
Is your expired one from Wa state and expired less than 6 years? Then yes. If its an out of state license then no.
Depends on what kind. A regular class C is about 55$ But a class A is 135 And a International Class A with Tanker and Hazmat is 265$ Then there are class B Motorcycle Flatbed Etc etc etc
You may have to take knowledge test and driving test.. take out of state ID, proof of residency, voter registration card works,.. pay fees.. wait about two weeks, it comes in the mail
Yes, you can replace it if it's lost or stolen.
My son took his written test in Port Orchard at 911 Driving academy. It was $45 and if you fail your next test is free. He then took his driving test at the same place. He did go through their driving school so that might make a difference idk.
So as an employee of the DOL, I can tell you that a permit costs $25. In order to get one you need to either take the knowledge test or be registered in a drive school and the class has to start within 10 days before we issue. If you are under the age of 18 you cannot get your license unless you go through the drive school but you are eligible to take the test at the age of 15 and a 1/2 and get a permit. If you are over 18, already have a Washington ID and don't want to take drive school then all that is required is you take the knowledge test and pass. If you don't already have ID then you have to identify yourself and the documents required are on the website.
If you have a valid ID from another state, a social security number and proof of WA residency (http://dol.wa.gov/) the cost is $54 dollars. If you have DSHS assistance, I recommend getting a voucher to make the cost $5. At the above web address gives you any other details you may need. At the end of the day I suggest that you bring in all documents you can and come see us so we can your process started.
You should be able to renew them online, and it will tell you the other details you asked about - https://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/renewyourtabs.html
Yes you can. Requires original documents. For citizenship; need an original birth certificate, OR a valid passport or valid passport card. Social security verification; need original social security card OR a paystub showing the FULL social security number. 2 forms of residency. The residency list is pretty long I recommend going to our state website... https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/edlproof.html. Lastly keep in mind if your current name is different from your citizenship document proof of name change is required, and the proof must be a certified original document, state/court issue marriage or divorce document.
No
No, all testing is done at drive schools. Or go to Poulsbo office Wednesday only!
If you are over 18 and want a permit it is $25. A permit is not required for somebody over 18 so you can pay $35 and then do the drive test. However you cannot test at the Riddell Road office. All testing is done either at the schools in the surrounding area or Poulsbo driver licensing office.
No driving there from what I understand, written yes.i think they send you up to Perry avenue for driving after that.Port orchard office still provides both written and driving
No test required with valid out of state license.Fee deoends on which license you choose to get, standard or enhanced. See more info at the link https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/moving.html
The cost of a license is $89.00 for first time WA license. If your renewing the cost is $54.00. If your a first time WA license applicant make sure you have a valid SSN and proof of residency for living in WA. If you need more details visit our website. http://www.DOL.WA.GOV
Correction, the Poulsbo DOL does regular tests ONLY on Wednesday's up until 4pm. For CDL testing, both Bremerton and Poulsbo conduct those tests daily up to 1hr before closing.
Do you have a Valid Mil ID card and its a WA Driver license you will be ok. I work there too. :)
$25 for permit but you need to pass the written test first. If you take the test at a drive school you must pay the drive school test fee then come in to the DOL to get your permit. Only the Poulsbo office does written test on Wednesday only 8:30 to 4:00
Yes, there is a $2.00 fee in addition to the cost if you use debit. Credit card is $3 and up Cash or check is the same, no additional fee.
If you are under 25. Birth certificate and parent. Over 25 years old and have a birth cert you'll need 3 more docs such as ss card, HS or college transcript, year book with your picture in it. There are many ways to do it, that's most common. Dol.wa.gov will help you. You must also have proof of residence such as utility bill with your name and address. Again go to website since there are many ways to prove residence.
Yes, in our area only Poulsbo does testing. Wednesday's only. Go to any drive school pay to take test then go back to DOL pay $25 to get permit. Go to DOL.WA.GOV for info. Better than calling.
$20 for replacement and $2 for credit card fee.
Not really. Riddell only does the written in foriegn languages like Japanese, Korean, Spanish. You must go to the Poulsbo or Tacoma office Wednesday ONLY from 8:30am or be at the counter by 4pm at the latest. No Appt, first come first serve.
If you lost your Washington lID or Drivers License just go in and tell the agent your name and date of birth. They can verify your identity by the photo on file and reissue a new one. This only works for people with previous Washington ID or driver license, not Out Of State.
Payment = $20
