Had a last minute trip, couldn't take my pup with us. Thought because this place had 3.9 stars and was on Proctor it would be good. Nope. I will never leave my dog anywhere ever again this place has traumatized me. After this experience and going through EVERY review I found one where someone's dog actually died here. I got there, brought my dog in, the staff just stated at me. Didn't communicate what I needed to do. I'm not even kidding I legitimately was awkwardly standing there while some teenage looking girl just kind of stared at me greeted my dog, then moved behind the counter and we just continued to stand there. I had to ask what they needed from me for them to do anything, waited on someone else to come? All they did was have me sign my name and my dogs name and breed. They didn't mark down the stuff I brought for my dog, didn't take notes for any instructions for anything. They didn't screen for fleas, vaccines, or any health conditions or diseases. Didn't ask if he was aggressive or friendly or if he did well with other dogs? Nothing. When I paid I handed them $100 bill for the cost of $80 for two nights. They seriously asked if I wanted change back, I said um yeah??? They said they didn't have change. Like what? So I gave them $85. The staff looked high as hell on weed and were not professional. I asked to use the restroom so I could look around. The place was creepy and dirty and felt like a freaking prison. Over the phone they said they had nice rooms for the dogs, the rooms I saw looked like the pound. The nicest room was for the cats? They had a makeshift living room with cats wandering around. There were not alot of dogs I could see so didn't seem too crowded and thought atleast they can give good care since there aren't too many dogs. I made up so many excuses to convince myself it was okay to leave my dog that should have been the first red flag. I made the poor choice of leaving my dog because I didn't know what else to do, and hey other people left their dogs so it should be fine right? I was probably just being stuck up or over protective right??? Wrong. Should have gone with my gut. I will never forgive myself for leaving my dog here I feel like a horrible pet parent. They leave at 7 PM and aren't back until 6 am. Your pet will be alone and listening to other dogs scream and bark for 11 hours. I had 2 panic attacks thinking about my dog being left at that place, and did not get any sleep. Ended up finding a family friend to pick him up as soon as they opened in the morning. My friend picked him up, they told him we didn't leave him with a leash so didn't return our leash, (we went back and got our leash it litterally was hanging on the wall). They weren't even sure which bag was my dogs bag to give him. I had called twice about a refund for the extra night we paid that he didn't stay, they wouldn't give my friend the refund, never called me back, and when we went back said they had to get a supervisor to get a refund. They then said they could mail me the refund or I could come back AGAIN and pick it up the next day. How hard is it to refund $40 ??? My friend said when he picked my dog up the place smelt horrible after the dogs were all left alone for 11 hours (wonder why/sarcasm) my dog was covered in piss and dirty. He said there were so many dogs it looked unmanageable. I have a vet appointment scheduled for him to be checked put because who knows what the hell happened while he was there. Please listen to the other bad reviews on here if you care about your pet. It is as others say hell for dogs, they get no outside time, they are left unattended for 11 hours, they are not hygienic, they don't take instructions for care for your dog, the staff seems untrained and irresponsible. They can't even manage payments properly, you don't get any kind of receipt. You can't monitor your dog and the only way to check in is to call and have someone probably pretend they know which dog is yours and say like a robot "oh they are great!". Screw this place.

This was the first time I left Fritz alone with strangers. The ladies here always take good care of the furball with grooming and it was no difference with a 4 night stay. He was mad at me but when I got him back, he'd had a bath, played and was so tired, he snored the while way home! Will definitely be a go to when I have to leave town again.

I've been bringing my fur babe here since they were on 26th and Alder, they always take care of my boy and I'm never disappointed. He is a very large breed with allergies and they handle him with care.

Left our pitbull there for a couple of days while we went out of town and she did great. Very friendly staff.

Questions & Answers

What does a package of 2 days a week cost per month for doggie daycare?

Hello Raemarie, Thank you for your question. You can purchase a Daycare card that is good for 10 full days of daycare for the price of 8! That makes the card cost $200, and you can use the days as needed. Thank you, Brianna, Lynette and Team.

Are dogs able to roam around freely with other dogs or are they always crated?

Thank you for your question. We have two areas for roaming dogs, everyone goes to one area or the other dependent on who gets along best with who, which our team puts great time and focus into determining. However, for those who do not play nicely with others, we have rooms set up for them where they have a dog house, bedding, water, and room to walk around, as well as the ability to see, hear, and smell the other dogs. Some times a little bit of time in these rooms gives them the chance to calm down, and then be able to join the rest.
