EDIT: management said they have cut contract with whoever their previous bug company was, fingers crossed the new ones will take care of the infestation. I noticed maintenance is regularly bleaching the elevator as well. Outside door is no longer boarded up. Phone lines were also fixed. *hopeful new management takes care of all residents* - - There is a waitlist to have units treated for cockroaches. Someone threw a rock through a glass door two weeks ago and it is still boarded up. Rent is going up and this place is not worth it. Street parking is guaranteed to get your car stolen or messed with. Also, don’t bother calling the office. They literally said not to, as it only rings once.

Currently a resident. Got an E-Mail saying the account in which I pay my bills through was canceled. I have been calling the office non stop, leaving voicemails, and have not heard back for over a week. I’m unable to visit in Person because I’m out of town and have no way to pay my bill nor contact since they won’t answer the phone or call me back. So if someone from the office is reading this please call me back.

I wish I could give negative stars. The building is infested with bed bugs. They keep heat treating individual apartments, but the infestation is still in the walls. The building manager definitely treats women differently than men. I was treated as if I am lesser than. The building is known to have bed bugs, but the management team forces the tenants to pay for the removal. If you move in with any animal they automatically deduct $190 from your security deposit for flea treatment, when the apartment isn't carpeted, and they charge a $400 non refundable pet fee. The property manager takes every complaint personally towards his character, which I find very unprofessional. The review my former neighbor left is now missing. Hmmmm very interesting.

So far so good! There's a lot of charm, great views and awesome customer service. I love living here because of the convenient location, outstanding staff and property manager. I’ve never had an issue living here. I can even see the port of Tacoma from my window. The size of the units are a great value for the rent being paid especially when rents are going up everywhere. The Vintage Apartments are a hidden gem in the Theatre District downtown Tacoma close to The Stadium District, Hilltop, I-5, and the UW Tacoma. come by and see for yourself!

My buddy has lived there for 30+ years and never had any issues. Rumor on the street was someone trying to get out of a lease.
