5/5/22 Update - Summer hours on rifle/ pistol range are now extended to 11-5 on weekends.. 5/28/21 Update - Rifle-Pistol range is open Wed-Th & Sat-Sun 11-3 by reserved two hour time slots by calling or stopping into the office. This range has had some upgrades over the last year. Payments for range time is done at the sales office, not on the range. Memberships can now be renewed online. Thiis is a nonprofit, member run facility. It's one of the oldest around and many parts/areas are showing it. They are one of the few clubs around that do not require membership for range use. They do not require members to commit monthly service time, nor do they require NRA membership. Multiple ranges for rifle, black powder, skeet, and bow/ archery. They run a cowboy competition range every month. Supervised multi-use rifle/pistol range is open Wed-Sun from 11-5. If you found this post to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.

Great place to shoot and go rv camping. The range has a rv campground. Mostly 30 amps, but gas a few 50 amp sites. Dump on site. Site are water/ electric only. Love going there. Once the range is closed, it is oeaceful and quiet all night.

Love the RSOs. Kind, helpful, welcoming. Yes different RSOs have some different takes on it. But safety is always first and foremost followed by fun. Great place, nice facilities. Def going to join the club next time enrollment is available so i can take advantage of a full yr.

It was my first time at a range and they definitely have a huge setup. If you miss the turn off the main road, your screwed. Bing directions are not reliable for this location but Google will get you there. The skeet range was very large and could accommodate many. The pistol and rifle area was much smaller and filled up pretty quickly. The range supervisor was an older man with a dry, biting sense of humor. Not everyone found him funny and a couple folks in our group were downright offended. My advice if you go, don't take it personally. He's a smartass but I got the impression he's seen enough $#!+ in his life that he's earned the right. In general, I would go there again for skeet shooting but I probably wouldn't bother for pistol/rifle shooting.

Targets are available for purchase. Target stands are standard for everyone.
Ray, the trap range is open (not this weekend, as there is an event though). All of our safety protocols are listed on our website, www.shootesc.org, as well as our range calendar.
Ryan, At the rifle range, only slug and buckshot are allowed. At the shotgun range they allow up to 7-1/2. No steel shot.
It's mainly volunteer run, no minors. There was a time where they would hire kids to help score during certain shoots, but that hasn't happened in a while.
But if you prefer a sled type you should bring one.
The rifle & pistol range is 100 yards. Blackpowder/ muzzleloader range 50 yards. Pistol only bay is 15 yards.
