Good store that serves as a repository of woodworking knowledge. Cool place to shop for tools you didn’t know you needed. But I’m not sure it’s the best for buying tools. It seems they still haven’t figured out how to compete with online retailers. I had a choice to pay and extra $50 plus drive two hours to pick up a machine here or order from Amazon. They didn’t show any willingness to budge. I’m not sure what they are thinking. They chose zero profit over small profit. They could have allowed local pickup instead of charging $40 for shipping. They could allow me to use my 10% birthday coupon outside of my birth month. They could offer the same equipment but without the stand. But they didn’t really seem interested in changing the underlying business dynamic that would require me to both pay 10% more than amazon AND drive two hours round trip. Sorry. They lost my business.

Great variety of wood working tools, fair choices on slab wood and friendly, helpful staff. Picture is of Olive Wood Glitches which are absolutely gorgeous! Only negative in my mind is prices seem high but I don't have any other pricing to compare with.

All I can say is Wow.! Growing up ( ol' fart now ;~} ) I dreamed of finding a store like this that caters to my artistic soul. They everything imaginable for the true wood working enthusiast. Next time you're on a quest of finding just right piece of wood, tool or whatever related to wood working, then this place needs to be moved to the Top of List.! Have fun browsing... : )
