I took my son to see lightyear. We went in the afternoon, so the crowd wasn't too big. And there wasn't too many people in the audience. I went purposely at this time because usually I do go in the evening or night with my son's father so we can all enjoy the movie. But around that time there are more college students. That movie theater is in the area of a college. And there are usually a full House when you go at that time. And sometimes that can be hard for a short person or a child to see the screen. My child has complained before about not being able to see the screen or hear the screen when there are adults sitting in front of him or talking, or even sometimes smoking. And my son has asthma so that bothers him. But this experience was fine because we went at a earlier time. If you're wondering we did the 12:00 show in the middle of the day. The earlier in the day the better, the less of people will be there. There's only one concession stand, that is a negative about this theater. They do not search your bags that's a positive if you wanted to bring in snacks.

Bag inspection policy is incredibly stupid, they almost made me throw away part of my girlfriend’s birthday present (candy) until I argued with the woman who obviously doesn’t get paid enough to care. The whole place is desperately in need of renovation too, parts of it almost looked abandoned.

The seats didn't recline back very far and the aisle was small. My 6'5" date had leg cramps after the movie. But it was very fast getting our tickets, snacks, and getting seated. The women's bathroom was one of the cleanest movie theater bathrooms I've encountered. The sound volume wasn't consistent between previews (some were way too loud) but I don't think that's the theater's fault.

Pick your seats, get parking validation all in smooth purchase transaction at small front desk. Pricey wine and drinks at the snack bar. Well maintained, comfortable mid-size theatre, great sound. Quiet hallways, slightly dimmed. Great movie-going venue. Armed guard in black kevlar was off-putting, though.
