we have small acetone tank, we never strip paint, only chairs because wood expands in chemicals sometimes.
Send me a photo with measurements,we should be able to do just the top and sides. It might be a lacquer finish , the conversion varnish is more durable but looks the same.
Those are pretty easy to repair and level if all the parts are there, we sometimes replace the dowels for strength.
We can fix minor carving repairs and some new wood but we are not wood carvers.
