I had Greg W come out for the initial estimate (late Feb 2022) to replace an existing French door patio exit with a sliding glass patio door for more usability because the original builders apparently had never entertained anyone in a house ever so the door looked nice, but wasn't very usable (among a bunch of other things I've discovered about the house that make zero sense or were just done by sub-sub-sub contractors who don't really care if something is usable or not). Greg came and gave an estimate for the project I wanted done and although I will admit the build quality of Champion isn't quite as good as Andersen windows, they were also 50% of the cost & I would say that the quality is at least 70% as good if not better. That's a good enough trade off for me. Also helps that my parents had used Champion windows for their home in MN before too so the quality of the installed windows I've seen before. Greg W offered me a great price for the project and didn't punch my dog, which is a huge plus. Champion windows were able to come and do the installation of the new door in about a month (end of March 2022), which is a great turnaround time for the current supply chain issues everyone is facing. Installation was good, work area was well protected and cleaned up after everything was said and done.

Joe came out and did a great job on his sales presentation. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. I would have liked to see him be more flexible with his presentation timing, I was expecting an hour visit, it ended up being over an hour even when I made it clear I needed to wrap up the meeting. They presented very nice products and showed several tests to support the quality of their products. In the end, the products were more expensive than we expected but they were able to offer some special pricing deals which was nice. I will have to discuss with my husband before we decide if we move forward with Champion or not.

Champion of Seattle is a window and door company that also does other work surrounding windows and doors, like glass, repairs and installation. They have very affordable prices, a financing option if you want to stretch out your payments, and your normal choices of windows and doors that are out there. Greg helped us out and was fantastic. He was very receptive, was an active listener (which is tough these days with sales), and actually paid attention to my facial expressions and body language enough to understand my opinions on the products he was showing us. He came out a few times to make sure it was all correct, walked us through every step, gave us copies of the information while making sure to explain it, and took his time doing all of this. He even tried to take our dog for a joy ride in his car, and didn't even try to kick him! Would definitely recommend Greg to help you hear out some options for your window replacements.
