Nice staff and easy process to get tickets and seats. The sound and picture are good as well. However, there are no recliners. The fabrics on the seats are stained and have a nasty odor. The air conditioning is very poor– it gets extremely stuffy especially in the summer.

This location has been maintained well, felt refreshing, clean and joyous. The Dolby screen deserves a shoutout, the special recliner seats like no other theater, great sound system made the film experience even better, had the screen been bigger it would be simply perfect. Dolby picture is very colorful and high contrast image is very pleasant to watch. The amc magic Johnson location and this location are like night and day different !

Saw a movie in IMAX here. Was sad to see the seats didn’t recline fully. I know this is a very first world problem, but it seems like every theatre is switching to this. I thought being an IMAX theatre there would be question if they would or not. The theatre itself is very clean and easy to navigate. The food and drink prices are unusually high. I am writing this post COVID when the economy is bad, but I visited other theaters recently and they weren’t this high. All in all I recommend going to this one. There is a mall and lots of food options right outside. I’d say get here early, hit ones of those up first, then see the movie.

Having moved to the Baltimore area recently, I’ve been to all of the local AMCs and I think this is the best of the area. However, I’m sitting in Theater #5 and there is a giant brown gash/line down the center of the screen. There was no warning of this, and I honestly am so disappointed that they would try to pass this off as acceptable. Makes me reconsider whether my AMC Stubs membership is worth it when I can just go to the immaculate Charles Theater and have a perfect experience every time.
