I've been here twice and each time the front desk clerks were courteous, professional, and went the extra mile. They deserve commendations for their patience. This last time I think one of the housekeepers was in a mood. We were waiting on an elevator and she went in, I didn't hear her since she was facing away from me but she said something sounded like come on. I made this mistake to think she was going downstairs and she yelled at me. Not sure why it was warranted but there was no need to be rude. A simple I'm going up would've sufficed. I'll be back one last time but hope she's not here.

Although my experience was excellent during my stay at Comfort Inn, I'm not sure how much I will be using Choice Hotels. I have a VERY bad experience with the hotel that I normally use in Mt Laurel, NJ. When reported the issue to the chain, Choice customer service was also very disappointing with their response regarding discriminations. HOWEVER, If I'm in the are of the Wilmington/Newark Comfort Inn, I will be more than happy to use their facility

Overall my stay was ok. I was a bit disappointed that I had requested attached rooms but when we arrived had been given separate rooms. It was noted in my reservation as having a room divider and I had requested adjacent rooms when I called for reservations. I am not sure what happened there...there was a breakdown in communication. My room also had a moldy smell . I tried to change rooms but the hotel was pretty much booked solid. I think it was only that room because our other room was fine. But tread cautiously if you are allergic to mold. The employees were friendly and breakfast was good.

This Comfort Inn & Suites offers spacious rooms. The hotel staff is friendly. The room was decent just needs a bit of updating. I'm a stickler for my bathroom areas. The bathroom presented clean except the toilet needed to be cleaned much better, I don't like to see urine drops. They also offer a typical continental breakfast, I picked up a frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich and coffee since there is a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. Lastly I really didn't care for the side road location, but on the plus side it's not in a noisy area.
