Christiana rd, Newark, Delaware best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at and we stay at Holiday Inn Express exclusively when traveling up and down the east coast. The room was exceptionally clean (cleanest so far), there was water in our room and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and fresh. The staff was very nice and helpful and kind. The astetics of the hotel is delightful, kind of a lodge feel to it. Tasteful. The breakfast was good. The room was large and clean. I have no complaints, I will back in a week, on my way back home to NC. I recommend this hotel.

Usually hotel is great. But yesterday morning at 9:27, I had my DND up, was getting out of the shower when housekeeping tried to walk into our room. I'm not sure why you would try to enter an occupied room with the do not disturb up at that hour. It wasn't check out time and I certainly wasn't checked out. But we do stay here regularly, which is why I would still give 4 stars. But I shouldn't have to worry about people walking in on you while getting ready for the day.

After reading the reviews of other hotels in the area, I'm glad I decided to stay here. My room was comfortable, everything was clean, and the front desk staff was kind. If I ever end up back in Newark, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.
