Came upon this place while in the market and so happy we did. The gentleman at the counter was so kind. Great service. As tourists we couldn't really get meats but we could get meat sticks. They were so good. My husband went for the spicy stick and I opted for the maple bacon. They hit the spot. A great snack to grab while exploring. You will find this shop just to the left of the famous fish throwing place. Stop in!!

I’ve always wanted to visit Pikes. Don & Joe’s was the highlight. Try their pepperoni and smoked cheese as a walk around snack! Super yummy and excellent customer service!

Got a rack of lamb here and they gladly frenched it for me. Roasted it for dinner tonight, was by far the best rack of lamb I’ve ever had. Simply the best quality butcher in the city, hands down. Super friendly staff also! Can’t wait to try the steaks I got for tomorrow. Thanks guys, it makes me so happy knowing you’re here!

I have purchased poultry and beef at Don & Joe’s, and like everything in Seattle, the prices are high. However, the meats are excellent, sourced from state of Washington farms and ranches. The staff moves quickly, no time to schmooze at Don & Joe’s. My assumption is the lines are long normally, when there is no pandemic, and there is no time to socialize. I just enjoy socializing everywhere. I even schmooze with myself. It will be interesting when the pandemic is finally over in 2025 and the market is crowded.
