Our 8 week old pup was taken to the back while we waited eight hours for a doctor to never even see our pup. They told us our puppy would be alright to be taken home and seen in the morning. Our little pup passed away the next day. They seem to only treat the obvious critical animals first and the rest when they had time. They never even examined to see how critical our puppy was. He had pneumonia and was anemic.

I don't usually post, but I am very happy with working with BluePearl. My cat had eaten a day lily, which are highly toxic to cats. When I took her in, they let me know they were almost at capacity and it may take time to see my cat. Knowing the severity, they checked in on her a few times in the waiting room to make sure she wasn't having immediate symptoms. When we did get evaluated, they provided clear recommendations and were empathetic with cost associated. While my cat was staying there to be monitored and vitals regularly checked, they called me with updates and how the prognosis was going. When I would call in asking how she was doing, the staff was friendly and helpful for any updates they had. My cat is now back home and while in recovery, sheβs doing great. The hospital gave me detailed next steps for continued monitoring and advised to other conditions they identified (ie, heart murmur) with recommendations on how to evaluate those needs as well. Having your pet in am emergency state is really hard and I felt ensured by the entire BluePearl team. Thank you so much!

Great care and concern from staff. They really treat the animals well and are compassionate to family requests. Don't blame the Pet Hospital for long wait times - it is nearly impossible to get in immediately anywhere in this region. They will triage and stabilize your pet until it can be treated. Also, the actual cost was much lower than the estimate the doctor provided and I was refunded the difference. Overall, top notch staff and operation.

I want to thank the Blue Pearl Team & Dr Thorpe for all the Compassion & Love they showed Bentley at the end of his life. I read reviews before taking him to Blue Pearl our vet recommended them. It's only been a day since we put Bentley down and it's been pretty rough for us, but his spirit is with anyone that knew him he was pretty special and made you smile. Thank you for all you do to help our pets!πΎ KR

Yes ma'am we took our Netherland Dwarf Hotot house bun in about a month or so ago becuz he had a pretty bad case of GI Stasis & they truly were absolutely awesome & ended up saving our little guys life! A cupl things tho, be sure to call ahead the day u decide to go to chk the specific doctor's availability for what ur needing to be seen for. For example, we needed the exotic vet dr who is knowledgeable in rabbits specifically & usually Dr's in ERs don't work full time there so ya wanna b sure they in the office k. And if they ask ur location preference tell em out front if u can esp if it's Gi Stasis becuz it'll take about 4 or 5 hrs to administer all the fluids needed to get ur bun better. I don't think ur allowed in back cuz of COVID & also if ur rabbit hasn't been vaccinated from their deadly rabbit virus that's been goin around last few yrs. That way u can sit w/him or her for the duration of ur appt. But all costs associated w/the treatment u decide on r totally discussed before.
Yup & they r great! We took our Netherland Dwarf Hotot there a cupl months ago & they took him in rt away! This was just cuz ours had "GI Stasis" which I guess is considered a time sensitive emergency matter. They were really great! Don't hold me 2 this name but I think it was Heather Newton who we got! The girl was great! She met w/us beforehand & talked about his treatment options & costs then we decided which we wanted 2 go with. This way ya don't get this insanely crazy bill at the end. Much better than some other places I've been. ;) Just be sure to call ahead to make sure all the necessary folks are in the office the day ur gonna go. Some don't work full time at this clinic etc but it's also encouraged on their website. Hope ur bun gets better very soon sending him/her my very best wishes! If ur worried tho this isa great place cuz I was a total & complete mess to put it mildly & it was so much better than I had thought.
They take any & all pets I'm pretty sure w/the exception of farm animals I believe. Just give em a call cuz they are open 24/7 & each time I've called I was transferred to a live person in a matter of mins. Just b sure to put him in some kinda proper locked pet carrier or container & u should b good. That's what they told us with our pet rabbit. They r quite safety cautious cuz I'm sure the current pandemic but the pet world also has a cupl very deadly to pets only viruses goin around they gotta be careful. So havin them in a carrier I guess is stressed there & for good reason. But when u go inside remove any addl items like blankets & stuff only the big guy goes in the carrier. Some may have spares to borrow just ask ahead of time. But when we went carriers were stressed a lot probly cuz one of those deadly viruses is a rabbit illness which kills buns almost immediately so FYI. They r an exotic vet for emergencys so they r also open all the time last I checked k. Good luck!
It is an exotic and emergency hospital.
That is correct. You just have to go to carecredit.com
I'm pretty sure that your regular vet would be much more reasonable price wise. However, if you don't feel comfortable waiting that long, then I'd expect to pay emergency prices.
Yup. They do exotic pets of all kinds with the exception of farm animals I believe but u should always call ahead anytime ur headed to a veterinary emergency hospital most times & they prefer that u do call ahead here. They will answer not just some crazy long winded msg system after a few mins u usually w/land at someone live their phones aren't bad at all here
I am pretty sure that they do see reptiles.
You should just call them.
If he has an appt for July 3rd, I'd imagine that'd be his surgery date? You should call Blue Pearl and get some clarification.
They are open 24hrs. You can drive the cat in
You're asking a map. For an accurate answer you might want to call the business.
Probably. They told me they will treat anything that can fit through the door.
Take her in
