We stayed two nights with preteen and teen kids. The water park is small and geared towards younger kids, but our grandkids still enjoyed it. I enjoyed the fact that it was small and they could do what they wanted to do without having to follow them around. None of the water is deeper than 4 ft so it is really safe for small kids in my opinion. We really enjoyed the glass covered water park. It was especially nice when we had a pouring thunderstorm and were able to keep swimming. The rooms though were pretty bad. I'd say it was barely adequate. No decoration or anything special, nothing extra whatsoever. The beds were okay but don't expect much from the rooms. We didn't go to the restaurant because no one was eating there so we didn't expect it would be very good. The water park though was definitely enjoyable. I think they could improve the rooms quite a bit with some TLC.

We love bringing our little one up here. However they need to do something with lifeguards on the kids water slides. They do not monitor them at all and lots of kids getting hurt all day. Other than that the pizza the service and the restaurant were really, really good! Rooms were clean and fresh and the man doing the outside landscaping was both friendly and keeping the resort looking outstanding!

We were there for one night this week as a quick getaway while our kids were on spring break. We had a great time in the water park. Everything was clean and well maintained and plenty of pool rafts for the slides and lazy river. Not too crowded, especially considering it was spring break week. The hotel is no frills, but the staff was friendly and the mattress was comfortable. We were on the third floor, and had no problem with noisy neighbors or people letting kids run crazy in the hallways. I brought our own pillowcases, and felt good about that choice since a couple pillows looked like they had dust on them - like maybe they had been dropped on the floor. The room floors weren’t really clean. Lots of dust around the edges of the room. The room heater/ac worked well so we were ok with the thin blanket that is part of their bedding. Otherwise the staff were friendly and our boys, ages 9 and 5, had a great time! We almost didn’t go based on some recent reviews, but I am glad we did. It was worth the 2 hour drive. Our boys also enjoyed the small arcade, but teenagers would surely get bored with it.

Water park is super fun. Hotel check in should be bigger to accommodate more guests. Line was always long. But their Customer service was great. Housekeeping was nice and I guess their feeling the pinch like all businesses with staffing. Our room wasn't ready at 6pm check in and hallway was full of dirty linens. Let's hope the economy can get back soon. I've stayed here before and it was great. This time was still great but lots of hiccups. Still a great time.
