Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport, an IHG Hotel

The stay was really good, we stayed one night and used their park and fly deal. The issue happened when we got back from our vacation and found our catalytic converter was cut out from our car, which was parked in the front row, near the front entrance. Hotel staff told us they have no security cameras watching their lot, and police said this happens at least twice a week in the holiday inn parking lot. Of course, the hotel is not responsible for any damages, but they take zero effort in any prevention methods for this to happen while charging you a good amount for the parking. It’s a good hotel to stay the night in, but if you want to do the park and fly, go somewhere else that will at least try to prevent damages happening to your vehicle. My car is low to the ground, so someone was comfortable to take the time to lift up my car, take a loud cutoff wheel to my pipes (20 feet from the hotel awning and front desk), and get out of there. At that point either the hotel has zero interest in preventing this, or they are actively making deals with whoever is hitting their lot. Don’t waste your money here.

Nice hotel with clean linens, bed was very firm. AC works great and nice shower head. Good breakfast and coffee. Hotel shuttle to airport but get down there at least 15min prior to get a seat, no guarantees. But rental car facility is only 2 short blocks. You could walk there and grab their shuttle to airport if you had to. Walkable to a few good restaurants in hotel row.

I stayed 2 nights, along with 2 pre-teen girls. We had a great time. At first I was skeptical about the location, but it turns out to be not too bad. The staff were very friendly, and seem to not mind answering any questions that we had. I was even offered advice on where to take my girls so that they wouldn't be so bored or drive me crazy.

Check in was smooth. Room was clean. I booked parking through a third party who at the last minute changed my parking reservation. Adrianna at the front desk went way above and beyond to help get it straightened out. Her customer service is a credit to her and IHG for accommodating my family.
