Today I visited the Des Plaines facility and was helped by a young man named William. He was very helpful and courteous. I was impressed by his kindness and willingness to help. Thanks William for the positive experience…previous experience at these facilities have been not so positive. I left the place with a happy feeling..

Central Intelligence Agency

Went there to do my road test. The instructor was rude from the start. Yelling his requests and just being disrespectful. I wasn't using turn signals in the parking which I didn't know you had to and he started legit screaming at me like he was my parent. I've never felt disrespected like that before. That guy was on a total power trip. Absolutely awful. Go to another dmv this one is not it.

Needed to pick up vehicle sticker. The appointments for other services were completely booked. However, did not need an appointment to pick up a vehicle sticker. Did have to wait in line. I was about the 10th person. Given that, the fact that I was in and out in about 17 minutes was pretty good considering that they only had one cashier working the vehicle sticker line. The second person closed up and left with about 16 of us in line.

Lady at the front desk (white, brown hair, blue eyes, chubby) near the entrance was so rude I was shocked. It was like she was purposely looking for a way to shout at me. I didn't say anything back to her because I just needed my license and didn't want to argue. I think it is a requirement to be a b**** to work here. She seemed so unhappy with her job so maybe its what she deserves. Good for her.
