Just left KFC and to say I'm disappointed is not an exaggeration. Some of the chicken was almost burnt the count was not correct and the pieces in the bottom of the bucket were .. well.... just plain gross looking. The breading was undercooked and falling off the meat. Do better KFC we paid a lot of money for mediocre food. And the employees that did so up today acted like they hated their jobs.

Why is there no option for zero stars? Extremely disappointed in the chicken we received. The only good thing I have to say is that thankfully you can't mess up the mashed potatoes and gravy. Let's start from the beginning: I open the bucket, absolutely dumbfounded (photo one)...the top pieces look like someone picked all the breading off of them. Ok, whatever...just eat the chicken. I take out what I'm thinking is a breast, it appears to have been beaten with a club...bones broken and all over the place (photo two). Not a big deal, pick out the bones...eat the chicken. Noooooo...there was no eating this chicken. It was rubbery. The equivalent of chewing gum for too long. I'm usually one to give a place the benefit of the doubt...but this is beyond that. Not even sure I'll give it to my my dogs. C'mon Hendersonville KFC ..get it together! What's even worse, this is the first time I have eaten at this location in 14 years, and it's still as terrible as the day I decided I wouldn't go back...back then.

Why one star? If I tried zero, it would not work. Since the manager thoughtfully offered to grill fresh chicken, we moved in the parking lot as requested and they forgot us. Over 1/2 hour later I went in to get the food. The manager was very apologetic and specifically instructed them to add extra pieces due to the inconvenience. Got home and nothing extra. Worse, however, was what we got. Pitiful and tiny pieces of chicken. By the way, look at the photo. My Big Box, at $8.29, plus tax, was two tiny legs and a thigh, biscuit, small mashed potatoes, and a drink. This cost more than my wife's meal which had two breasts and a wing, with the same other items. VERY disappointed. Don't worry... never plan to return, ever.

Really friendly staff. Allowed me to do a substitution on my five dollar fill up with no problem. Convenient to interstate 26. Clean and bright interior. However, KFC had the best fried chicken in the world when they used saturated fats. Sad that it’s no longer used.
