We had two rooms as we were a family of 8. I would have gave rooms 5☆ but multiple lights without working light bulbs and couldn't walk around in room without shoes because carpet was filthy. I love the rustic decor, the bathroom sink and fireplace! The brook was amazing and relaxing. Could use a fresh coat of paint and better cleaning. Also needs ice machines fixed. 4 floors we were on the third floor and only the first floor ice machine worked. Can't comment on the breakfast because we went to restaurants. The pancake house across the street high cost and the food sucked. Second day we drove only point 6 mile away and our bill was lower with a party of 10 as we had my great aunt and great uncle meet up with us as they live 30 miles from where we were. The food was absolutely delicious and it was such a short drive away.

Friendly staff and the price was right. Even let us check in early. The rooms were big and the view was great. Loved sitting out on the balcony every morning drinking my coffee and listening to the stream. We got fresh towels every morning. Housekeeping could of been better. Dusty lamp shades, stains on the carpet and the chair molding around the room had lots of dust on it. Broken toilet seat and dirt it the corners on the floor. We didn't see any bugs like other people but you are in the mountains. Its definitely not the worst place we have ever stayed at. Over all good experience Will be back

This really is a great place to stay. The linens & towels could have been cleaner, however with the laid back atmosphere, kind staff, and low prices, I really can't complain. They still deserve the 5 stars. Its within walking distance of downtown but far enough that its quiet at night. We will 100% stay here again.

Storm Priester

We stayed 2 nights for a little more the 100$ which is great especially for a weekend. The rooms all have fireplaces which you have to purchase wood for at the desk. The breakfast buffet was 5$ we didn't really like someone else was preparing our food made us feel like we couldn't eat all we wanted but we understand it's a precaution due to COVID. The views of the river are beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable we will definitely stay again.
