Dirty room, dirty walkways. Room and outside buildings were dingy, dirty and in need of updating. Misleading sign out front said something about new rooms, however, the one we had was not updated at all. The pool was nice, although it seemed to have too high of a chemical content which caused irritation. Charged an extra $20 for the night for 2 chihuahuas. Expected better for the price. The person who checked us in was okay. A different person who worked there was very nice and provided us towels for the pool.

The staff when we arrived was great I didn’t catch the man’s name but great hospitality from him. We spent a few hours at the pool but my father stayed in the room. We had a blast at the pool. It was fantastic clean and all around great time. My poor dad when we returned was sweating it was 90 degrees in the room. I called front desk and they sent the nice man he did something said ten minute it would be cool. No half hour later it’s still hot as hell and the air conditioning kept kicking off. At midnight they finally switch us rooms after we had already asked 2 time before to be switched! We get on new room it’s filthy dusty but hey the air conditioning was working so at least we could finally sleep. My 15 year old son took one of the pillows and sheet from the previous room I was unaware he did this until at 8 am the lady called about the stuff and demanded she was on her way to get it. Mind you this whole time we did the switching and everything else nobody got to bed till around 1 AM and then to get woke up at 8 AM over a sheet, when check out is at 11am. It was 20 minutes to 11 and the woman in charge had the cleaning lady knock on our door to ask if we were leaving or staying another night. Which to meant get out. I have never been treated like this and felt so uncomfortable in my life. Most horrible place I’ve ever stayed.!!!!!!!

Pool was nice and clean, the room was very clean, stuff was real nice and helpful we had our dog, first time that we stayed somewhere when we took our dog with us and they went in and cleaned the room. It was 10 dollars a night for the dog 🐕 and that was a good price. I highly recommend you staying there if you're in Jellico Tennessee.

Dylan was the staff member who greeted us and got us checked in. His customer service was truly outstanding. He was intentional and friendly, addressed us by our first names, which I appreciated and carried himself with professionalism. We would love to see him get promoted because he demonstrated a “go the extra mile” attitude. Our room on the other hand is the reason for this “poor” review rating. There was some dog hair in the sheets when we pulled them back. The fan in the bathrooms been unplugged because it was broken. This seemed to be intentional. There was a plastic access panel in the ceiling of the bathroom above the shower that was sitting in the bathtub so the pipes and wood above could be seen. Dylan walked us through getting that put back in. A few hours later, we heard something fall in the bathroom. It was the access panel. In the room above us, someone had taken a shower, the pipes leaked allowing water to trickle into the space and the weight of the water was to much for the access panel to hold so it fell. At this point it was 10:30pm. We took our concern to the front desk. David assured us that maintenance could fix the problem and would be at our room in 10 min. 15 minutes later, Dylan was at our door. He offered to move us to another room and also to speak with the guest above us and possibly move them. Since there were only double beds left, we opted to stay in room. Dylan got the access panel back up and we could no longer hear the trickling. Dylan offered us fresh towels and whatever we needed to be comfortable. Although we would not stay at this Days Inn again, Dylan’s customer service shined and we are thankful for that.
