The front desk clerk is rude and disrespectful. A family member was once staying here and they kicked them out due to letting them know that mold was all over the place . Their clothes , hygiene and everything was ruined because they discovered it was actually mole motes . They can get in your skin , hair , etc. They look like little pieces of rice and don’t move unless you pay close attention. Also the mites got into their skin and their entire arm is swollen possibly affected with something .. Don’t come or stay at this motel ever .

Alright. So, this is Oxford. You're going to get the people of Oxford - they're very similar to the People of Walmart except they're not in the same room with you. With that said... This place is the ONLY place I will consider staying, particularly at this price, if I'm ever in this area again. It's very much a family run business, and in a small town like Oxford, they're doing their darndest. When I say "a place like Oxford" I mean that yes, it's right off the highway but it's not especially a destination. Okay, so my stay. I arrived at around 10 PM and staff was immediately available to book me. They checked me into a room (they have legit KEYS for the rooms! How fun is that?!) and the rate was much less than $100 at time of writing, but we're in the midst of the coronacurse right now, so I can't guarantee your rate. They charged my card for exactly that - taxes included in the price - while i jumped over to my car and grabbed the $5 deposit required for the (actual!) key. Easy peasy. (Except I only had four dollars cash and had to scrounge up a few quarters.) The room was a smoking room but it was literally one of just a couple that were left, so no issues. It smelled like smoke. So what? That said, if you have allergy issues, probably consider asking ahead of time and don't book at 10 on the eve of a pandemic hitting the world. Onward we go. I checked in, and wanted to run to Walmart for a few things. Walmart, by the way, is like two minutes away. The owner (I presume - if he isn't then I certainly commend him for acting like one) noticed that I didn't have a parking spot. There was a truck parked in front of my room and the man was SO patient as he directed the truck to park elsewhere, as he was only waiting to pick someone up. Next thing. It's maybe 11 PM and these ... um... noises are coming from the next room over. Doors slamming, showers running and ... erm ... adult noises. The "couple" next door left to go wherever they came from and the manager was STILL walking the grounds. To be honest, I was a little startled. I'd watched the "couple" leave - it was a couple who had no sense driving and I honest to gods hope they killed no one on the way home back to their wives slash pimps. The manager saw me peeking through a corner of my curtain. I opened the door a crack and he asked if I was okay. Of course I'm okay - I've stayed in Henderson, right? But that sign of ownership further endeared me to this property. Seriously. This place isn't five star, but the service is over the top, so it gets five stars in my book. The room itself is fine. It's not luxury but there were no bugs, the cable works (if you can figure out how to use the damn remote) and for the price? Wow. The customer service and management is phenomenal. Fridge will cool, microwave will get your hot pockets piping... I'd consider coming back even if I'm not planning a stay in Oxford.

Omg stay away, cheap price and you get what you pay for. Dirty rooms, bathrooms disgusting, refused to shower in there. Dead squished bed bugs on the walls in several places in my room. But upon inspecting the bed thoroughly I didn't see any on the mattress. If it wasn't so late I would have left and got another place elsewhere. Yuck!!!
