Have recently been to AMC theaters several times and enjoyed each of the movies we have seen. My only dissatisfaction came from numerous people today not turning off their cell phone prior to the start of the movie. One person in particular should not be allowed to own a modern day cell phone because it rang 5 different times during the movie causing a distraction and repeatedly did not silence the phone, place it in airplane mode, or turn it off altogether. How rude! If that wasn’t bad enough, several other phones in close proximity to that phone also rang once. Wouldn’t you think that after one persons phone rang that you would check to make sure your own phone is silenced. Nope! Did not happen! What really bothers me is that no attendant was monitoring the theater to address the situation. What really bothers me is that all of these people were senior citizens! In addition, holding the audience captive and making them watch advertisements prior to the movie, then 20 minutes of trailers after the movie was suppose to start is like holding you hostage. The 20 minutes of trailers should start 20 minutes prior to the movies actual start time. Why should we be punished for people who fail to show up on time. It’s like rewarding society for being late all the time!

I've seen Top Gun: Maverick, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Elvis, and I even saw Ralph Breaks The Internet here back a couple years ago. The theatres are fine, each one can probably seat about 150. My only complaint about them is that they can get pretty cold (I'm looking at you, Elvis) so I would suggest you wear a sweater and some jeans. The staff is friendly and understanding, and a long line at the concessions won't actually take you that long. The popcorn doesn't taste right and it's not really salted. If I'm not on a full stomach, the popcorn will make me feel sick. I'm not sure if it makes everyone feel sick or if it's just me, but I would think twice before getting a huge bucket of popcorn for yourself.

At AMC in Myrtle Beach SC, Saw last movie of the day on Tuesday evening. When we came out off the movie we went to the bathroom. When we came out of the bathroom at 10:10 pm , we were the only people in the building? There where no employees anywhere! And all the lights were off! This is really unprofessional and dangerous! Anything could have happened to us! We know we were the last people in the place because only our car remain. Do better AMC. . .

#1 the place is always out of everything, no ice, most of the sodas are out, icees out BUT worse is we were just there, had a group come in late and they sat right behind us and proceeded to put their feet between our chairs, asked them to put their feet down and they did but then kicked the back of our seats the whole time. After 6 times of saying Please stop kicking our chairs I went out to find help, the so called Manager said they would come in but never did. Thanks for the assistance, all you had to do was make them move back 1 row which they should've done on their own. We were simply trying to enjoy Minions, a kids movie of all things. That was our 2nd movie in 2 weeks but last ever. I'll drive a few extra miles while here from now on.
