The parking sucked but was the food good? After driving around for at least 15 minutes we finally settled for a $20 2 hour parking spot that still required a 5 - 10 minute walk. It was scenic but still... Upon arrival we were seated within 10 minutes. Drink orders placed. There is a fair amount of mixed drinks and beer. The usual sodas are also here. A member of our party ordered an appetizer, "Shark Bites", they aren't real shark meat, but they are very good. I ordered an entree of "Pier Tacos" and I got them in "shark bite" form. After a 20 minute wait or party of 10 received our food. The Tacos were very good. Very light fish flavor and a heavy coleslaw flavor, but they were very good. All in all, if I come back to Myrtle Beach you can bet I'll come back to Pier 14 for some food and mixed drinks. I would recommend them. There is a great Pier you can pay $1 to walk, and there is a gift shop on site. Parking sucks. Enjoy!! Staff: 4 stars Food: 4 stars Timeliness: 3 stars Cleanliness: 4 stars

Pier 14 is one of our most favorite places in Myrtle Beach and we stop there for lunch or dinner every year we visit! The food is amazing and so is the view/atmosphere. This year however was our BEST experience yet! Thomas was our server and he literally made our visit that much better. He is very attentive, polite, kind, just an all around amazing guy! I believe first impressions are everything, Thomas is a genuinely great individual, with a huge heart, and he loves what he does. Hard worker, great conversation, we will be back and request Thomas every time we visit! You should to because he makes the entire experience greater then you can imagine! Ask for Thomas !

Went on Memorial day around 1pm. They don't do reservations but luckily when we arrived they had a table for 11. Food was good. Hubby got Shrimp Po Boy looked amazing. My daughter got ravioli. I got shrimp tacos with veggie of the day instead of fries. The "hush puppies" should be called what they are corn fritters. Great with the honey butter. I was hoping they were like the hush puppies at red lobster back in the day. The shark bites were good. A little spicey with the seasoning for the kiddos. All in all it was good and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Great pier with an amazing view. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked for a holiday....would definitely visit again.

Had lunch in this establishment on our last day at the beach. First and foremost, the pics will be not the sunny, pleasant images that I try to use in my reviews. It was a rainy, dreary day when we were here and the Sea Gods were angry! Now, on to the review! We have been on this pier many times but had never visited the restaurant/ lounge. The menu is fairly small and I felt that the pricing was somewhat high, until we tried the food! We both had the fish and chips and it was incredible. The fish was. Dry tender and flaky with an extremely crisp and delicate outer breading. Portions were large with each order consisting g of 3 pieces of fish that were approximately 4” x 4” each and approximately 1.5” thick. The fries were good as well and we were served a copious amount of them. A sale was also included and it was of good quality and taste! This meal was priced at $19.95! Also, connected to the business is the Pier 14 fishing pier where you can pay for a days fishing or just walk out on the pier to look around. There is also a gift shop which has pier 14 merchandise for sale. The business is located convenient to the board walk and the beach as well as being near the Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel and other attractions! Yes, i agree. You have to contact them about that.
They opened today
If you eat at the restaurant you can go down the pier for free. Otherwise there is a charge to go on the pier that is owned by the restaurant. You pay inside the gift shop. But if you're just looking to fish there are other piers that you can fish on.
