Glad to finally see another Choice hotel in this area since the only 2 other options were not great. This clearly used to be another branded hotel and is very appealing once inside. The location is good but not great, it's off to itself but also in a not so great area but then again it's Hickory so you can't expect much. Once inside the hotel your experience is great with a beautiful lobby and TV seating area. The rooms are very nice with pillow top mattress and huge flat screen TV. Def a great value for a really nice hotel part of Choice

I came in for 4 days to stay with SO while he’s working. The staff was very pleasant, hallways and common areas were clean, beds comfortable, but the furniture in living room area was filthy. I never sat in the chair and put a blanket on the sofa before sitting on it because of smell and stains.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days we loved it. Staff was amazing from front desk, housekeeping and everyone who works in the dining room preparing Morning Buffet for the guests. We will highly recommend this place and.

La Tortuga

Location is good not much really in the area but right off the 40. Redone. Breakfast was good the attendant gets most of it for you. It was just warm so I microwaved it. Plenty of options. Rooms were average size. Only getting 4 stars due to the bathroom was very small and the hot water was turned on all the way and only came out warm.
