Hampton Inn Lehi-Thanksgiving Point

Worst Hampton Inn experience. Had requested a room on the main floor in our reservation. Not available. Room stunk - window was left open. Window was so dirty (picture attached). Fridge didn't work. AC would turn on intermittently even when it was turned off manually. Ice machine was out of service. No hot water in the sink or shower ( evening when we arrived or next morning) Breakfast selection was terrible. Tried communicating with a manager - none on site. (Hilton website - is not conducive to making a complaint. Although we have received surveys in the past from our stays @ Hampton Inns - nothing was forthcoming this time) Although we have stayed at this location in the past - this was definitely a disappointment.

Positive: The swimming pool was warm so it made swimming with my kid very enjoyable. Negative: Our room was right above the main entrance and they had a speaker outside the entrance that was playing music all night long that we could hear in our room. Kept us awake and hard to sleep with it playing. The breakfast was also not fully stocked.

Positive: The staff was so friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free parking and easy access. The room was not fancy, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They are undergoing some remodeling, but it did not affect our stay at all. Negative: Nothing.

We stay here when visiting family. Sharron and Kyle are so accommodating to their guests! Our rooms are always clean along with the rest of the common areas in the hotel....thanks Gina! We needed some Ibuprofen one night and the young man at the front desk offered some up so we didn't have to run out to get some. A plus service from everyone we deal with. We look forward to our next visits.
