Like most individuals, it has been a tough year. While facing the pandemic. I succumbed to a lost of my business. While being deeply depressed. With no income to take care of my family needs and bills. Ive find myself having to pawn my equipment. Which prior I had no clue what a pawn shop was. After visiting several cash america location in tacoma. Ive felt pressure, embarrassed and ashamed to be there. As they stare me down as soon as I enter. I wanted to give up. But decided to drive 30 mins to visit the federal way location. Which is now the only location I will go to. The experience and atmosphere as I enter was extremely positive and for once I felt welcome. I TRULY WANT TO GIVE A POSITIVE FEEDBACK TO RAZA, CHRIS, and SCOTTY. They treat me as a guest and always provide excellent service. They have changed my perception of pawnshops. Again thank you guys.

Rude and it was hot on a Sunday broke and out of gas had a dewalt 20 volt fan with battery and charger he ask me if I had a receipt for it I told him no I bought it off offer up and he said ya unfortunately without a receipt they couldn't take it (if I had a receipt I would have took it back to store and got all my cash back and bought it back at another time and not got a loan that I would have to pay reduculous interest on ) I've dealt with them for many years never had a problem until now !! Can't believe the nerve of them how shameful to have a name like cash america !!

Went to pickup an item from layaway and wanted to look at another jewelry item and they required two forms of ID to even look at an item. They did request this previously. Very insulting to the consumer. My first transaction here will definitely be my last. I will never be back

I've used Cash America Pawn before and i've had positive experiences at the Puyallup and Auburn locations but this Federal Way location was horrible. The manager was rude and didn't know what she was doing or how to evaluate my laptop. They have a policy where the device must have 50% battery life. I had approx. 54% left (knowing that is a requirement.) The manager decided she wanted to make some calls after i had already turned my laptop on (she wouldn't allow me to plug it in either). I had explained to her my situation as soon as i walked in the door. She ignored me and i had to repeat myself numerous times letting her know the password for the laptop. By the time she was off the phone my laptop had 49% battery life left.... So they would no longer take it on a loan. No apologies, nothing. Extremely rude. I will never visit this location again!
