Strongly, strongly recommend this dentist. Not only do they make extra certain you’re comfortable (what other dentist does paraffin wax on your hands during your cleaning??), but they are such a welcome relief to the unfortunate over-treatment from the other dentists I’ve been to in the recent past. The X-rays they do are far more extensive than my previous dentists, and even having taken these extra X-rays, they found several less cavities that needed fillings. I would be hard pressed to ever switch dentists again.

I have been coming here since I was 7 years old. Dr. Johnson and his staff has always been kind and gracious to me and my family since day one. They know what’s best for you and take great care of you as a patient.

I always enjoy my cleanings at Harbour Pointe! They have a very professional and friendly staff. They get me in and out as quickly as possible while still do excellent work.

I’ve been a patient with Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry for about two years now. I’ve always hated going to the dentist and cleanings, but since seeing Dr. Johnson and his team, I’m at ease going now! Everyone is always so kind and personable and always able to answer any questions. They’re very efficient and their care is top notch! Prior to COVID, they would let you watch any channel on TV with headphones during your cleanings, along with a paraffin had wax treatment! So nice and relaxing while at the dentist! Thank you Dr. Johnson and team for being the best!

On average, getting a dental implant takes three to nine months. This includes removing the existing tooth (if needed), surgically placing the implant, allowing the bone to heal and fuse with the implant, and creating and placing the implant restoration (crown, bridge, or denture). To find out how long your treatment might take, contact us for a consultation: https://www.harbourpointefamilydentistry.com/mukilteo-wa-dental-services/family-dentistry/dental-implants/.

What are the consequences of missing teeth?

Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 15, 2022

Missing one tooth, let alone more, can cause a host of problems. This includes difficulty chewing, speech impairment, bite changes, jaw pain, adjacent teeth shifting to the gap followed by other teeth moving out of place, premature aging, sunken facial appearance, lowered confidence, and more. Luckily, there are multiple options for replacing missing teeth. Contact us for a consultation.

Do I need a root canal?

Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 14, 2022
Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 15, 2022

A root canal is necessary when the inside of your tooth becomes infected or damaged. If left untreated, the infection will spread, increasing your risk for additional dental problems, painful symptoms, and overall health issues. Signs you need a root canal include severe tooth pain or sensitivity, discoloration, swelling or tenderness of the nearby gums, and bumps on your gums. You may also experience no symptoms at all. To see if you need a root canal, contact us for an appointment: https://www.harbourpointefamilydentistry.com/mukilteo-wa-dental-services/family-dentistry/root-canals/.

When should I consider dental implants?

Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 15, 2022

A dental implant is an excellent choice for replacing a missing, broken, or severely decayed tooth. It's the only restoration that'll replace an entire tooth from root to crown. This helps to make the implant look, feel, and function like a real tooth. No one will notice! Contact us to book a dental implants consultation.

What is the best way to whiten my teeth?

Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 14, 2022
Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 15, 2022

The short answer: Professional tooth whitening by a dentist. Why? It'll work better than store-bought or DIY methods. Professional teeth whitening removes intrinsic (internal) and extrinsic (surface) stains, which means whiter, even, and longer-lasting results. It's also customized to you, including your sensitivity and desired shade of white. Contact us to book a teeth whitening appointment: https://www.harbourpointefamilydentistry.com/mukilteo-wa-dental-services/cosmetic-dentistry/teeth-whitening/.

Hi! Do you accept United health care dental coverage?

Joyann Bergevin | Aug 14, 2022
Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry (Owner) | Aug 15, 2022

Hello Joyann, We are in network with Delta Dental and Regence. We can still bill United Health, your out of pocket will probably be more though. I would suggest calling the customer service number on your insurance card, they will look for an in network provider in your zip code area. Hope this is helpful...~Heather
