Just walked in, no waiting, and security officer was very welcoming. The lady at the window was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and explained everything very thoughtful even though they couldn’t approve what I needed done. Overall a great experience!

I was told I need a Medicare card when I turn 65, I already have credible insurance but I guess I need a Plan A card. I tried to apply online but I was denied stating I need to contact Social Security. Waited on hold for over 30 minutes then a recording came on stating there was no one available to help me so they said to call back another time. The recording then said good bye and hung up. On another call I actually got a live person for a few seconds until she hung up on me. My phone disconnected 3 different times.

They're the only office still closed due to COVID and they clearly are unable to maintain their work remotely. I had to send sensitive documents, including my ID in the mail to them. DMV wouldn't/couldn't issue a temporary one because that's considered a second form of ID. Everything was lost - just as I was afraid of. Nothing was able to be tracked and they say it's the post office's fault. It is absurd that they can send sensitive and important documents from someone's identity in the mail without tracking. They should be held responsible. Now I have to try to obtain a new driver's license, and resubmit all AGAIN to social security with hopes that this time it doesn't get lost. I don't trust this office or service at all. I had a flight and needed my ID and the person I spoke to wasn't at the office or able to see if anything had been forwarded back to them. So it could have been sitting at the office and no one would have known because they don't show up to work. They are no help remotely and unfortunately, we are forced to rely on them this way with no other options.

We called ahead to make double check the hours. They were really nice. We had to wait about ten minutes to be helped on a Wednesday morning, and they will help you past closing if you already inside waiting. They were informative and quick when it was my turn.

Questions & Answers

I haven't received my SS check in 3 months. They said my claim was suspended. I keep being told The error was corrected and I"ll receive my checks. Why was my account suspended and I was not informed and how can they hold my checks and for how long?
