I used to love this place circa 2010, but it's gone downhill. Things have gotten a lot more expensive, policies have gotten more restrictive, and the vibe is... weird. They split the store in half physically with one side being an (often unstaffed) $10 sale, and it seemed like clearance chaos / going out of business, but they are somehow still there, and I'm not sure what's going on now. The last straw for me is the strict "no try-ons" rule, at least on the $10 side (I don't remember about the other side). No way I'm going to buy clothes with no try-ons and no refunds—they'd have to be $1, not $10. I disagree with the reviews concerned about rude staff, though. I'm just like, y'all, "scary cool girl[/guy/enby]" aesthetic is clearly a part of this store's brand. Having a cool alt 20-something roll their eyes at you or tell you to wear a mask or tell you to get out at close isn't going to kill you and is part of the fun. tl;dr I think the rank-and-file staff are fine and I have a big eyebrow raise for the management direction.
good ones
Staff was quite rude when I came in without a mask. I had no idea they were still enforceable as the news said the mandate was over. Really loved this placed don’t know what I could have done to receive this type of treatment. Plenty of fair priced stores on this street I’d spend your hard earned money at a better establishment

There are two stores adjacent to each other. One has SO MUCH clothing priced at$10, accessories are $1 - $10 power item. The other store is more stylishly merchandised and had higher prices. You'll find a variety of fashions, sizes and styles in either store. I highly recommend both stores!

Little to no options larger than small and medium. Literally one item in the XL section of shirts. The aisles were extremely narrow - size exclusive and not accessible. Most of the stuff in the $10 room was basically garbage and the other room had too high of prices for the items they were selling. Check out Village Merchants or Goodwill!!

Yes, you should be able to find twenties style here. But, the best time to go for costumes is around Halloween. P. S. If you are looking for authentic vintage, I have a storage unit full and I am looking to sell. Mostly 20s through the mid 60s and some 70s. Lots of costumes Kyt 503- 899-5404
I have never seen kids clothes for sale there, based on that I would say no they don't buy kids clothes
Yeah definately, especially now. If its like halloween's of the past look in the 80s/90s section or party dresses.
You could strike gold. Especially this time of year. They would probably be bringing out this sort of clothing with Halloween costumes. A day spent at The Red Light is never wasted
Yes! But you have to make an appointment
1930s is the earliest year that comes in somewhat regularly
yes the store had lots to offer... in my opinion it's way better than Buffalo Exchange... you won't be disappointed
Not sure if they buy jewelry. Probably vintage if they do. They do carry some jewelry in the case up front. I usually sell vintage clothing there
