Stayed here previously and this visit we had wine and a charcuterie board downstairs. Service, food and drink were enjoyable. Cocktails and wine are very pricey but that's Telluride. The outdoor chairs where we sat hat a overhead heater and coffee table like heater. Was a little too warm for a July afternoon but they were happy to turn it off and accommodating. My husband had a dirty Martini to start then moved on to a Burning Passion which is blanco tequila, grand marnier, lime juice, habanero syrup, passion fruit. It was a big hit as 3 at the next table also had ordered it after he had. I had a glass of wine, don't recall what the name was. We ordered the Colorado cheese and charcuterie planche with house-made chutney and accoutrements, local honeycomb. It was delicious.

Hadn't been to Telluride for 20+ years and was able to finish our 2022 road trip here before heading home. I chose the Madeline based on reviews and used reward points to book. Amazing resort. The front desk personnel were efficient and somehow remembered my name the 2nd day. (Always an amazing feat) During our stay, the hot water heater had a problem. They kept me updated via personal text messages until corrected and checked in the next morning to ensure all was well. Our room had a balcony with amazing views of the mountains. The room was top notch, including the TV hidden behind the mirror. The overall faculty was great and conveniently located in the mountain village and mere steps from the gondola. Will definitely be back and the Madeline will be first choice for accommodations!

Bad service, drinks are weak, half empty and very pricey. $22 for a margarita with no alcohol, tiny glass and all ice, terrible.
