Read the reviews on this page. Read them carefully. Do you notice anything? The vast majority of them,especially those with positive ratings, have grammatical errors. Also, here are three problems with the district. Teachers are newer, have less experience, and often do the bare minimum. Leadership is corrupt, inefficient, and incapable of success. Student literacy rates are decreasing and standardized testing scores are among the lowest in the Puget Sound. To save face, the district pushes through the grades to maintain their graduation rate. The graduation rate is one of the few things KSD cares about but 12th graders who read and write at middle school levels should not be common. My work has even hired KSD graduates who read at a 2nd-3rd grade level. Source: OSPI Report Card.

Too many teachers are doing the minimum and don’t seem to care about students success. The district administration doesn’t take phone calls during office hours. It was a mediocre school district to begin with, COVID-19 gave them reasons to be worse, much worse. Exceptions are district IT department & Ridgewood Elementary.

IT was wonderful. Haven't been here in many years but they now have an IT department which you have to drive-in to KSD turn right and then go all the way around and park your vehicle for computer exchanges and other IT help that may be need. You park your vehicle and the designated spot that is open and someone will come to your car as they have cameras and are able to check who is outside.

People gave out free food here which was so nice, but the lady with black coat and walky talky was rude and so was lady sho put box in my car that had gray curly hair. I’m a black Winna I said thank you and they ignored then I said thank you again and curly head lady laughed and said “yeah”. It just makes me feel like I’m being a burden. No one who needs assistance or food shouldn’t be treated with rude behavior, if you don’t like what your doing then don’t help out then.
