We moved cross-country from Raleigh, North Carolina just when everything in Seattle shut down due to the pandemic in March 2020. So finding a house, starting the job, etc. was very challenging and we had no idea how long conditions would remain in shutdown and our lives unsettled. After paying storage with our movers for a short time, we ended up putting our household goods into a storage unit here and then we lived "temporarily" down in Portland with family. Now, two years later, we finally were in a position to be able to move our things out of storage and into our home. We had a great experience at this location. It was really easy to have a large moving truck come in and unload and load our items. We rented a 10x10x30 unit and over the two years we were only able to go up to Seattle from PDX to check on it a few times. We never had any issues of break-ins. It was clear that after 2 years that there were never any leaks or other weather-related issues, no evidence of pests such as rodents or insects, and all of our items were in very good condition after being stored for so long. I'm sure that since we had had all of our items packed from moving cross-country and we just left everything wrapped, boxed, and crated, that helped preserve the good condition of our items. I had been growing increasingly concerned as the months passed but we did not know in 2020 how long our things would be in storage and so we did not opt to find a climate controlled unit. Moving out was very simple. We had a great experience with the current manager, Lindsy, who communicated very clearly and made our entire move out process very simple and pleasant. In our experience we have had nothing but a great success with having our household goods in long-term storage at this Public Storage location.

You'll have access during the daytime only, so if you work regular business hours you're SOL- they're not open during the evenings or early mornings. The office people are fine but have their hands tied, the manager is perfectly nice but totally unhelpful, probably also has his hands tied by corporate. Rates increase a lot, every few months, with no notice sent. As a traveling healthcare employee, when COVID hit and they reduced their hours I had no access to my unit. I ended up being out of town working for 4 months with two suitcases because the hours were so limited and I was traveling. Later discovered an issue with the door, got no help coordinating to get it fixed for almost a year (because, again, I travel out of town for work, thus the need for a storage unit in the first place) and I had to be there to do it. Just save yourself the time and trouble.

Public Storage is the perfect place to store your stuff should you need to they have different options of sizes that you might need there very easy to find you can't miss them being on the main road threw town , tell your friends and family . #love
