Excellent food. I am from out of town and was very impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. Excellent service also!

The best Chinese food restaurant in Des Moines/Kent area, and a contender for best in Washington. Recommendation is: General Tso or Spicy Seseme Chicken BBQ Pork Fried rice Enjoy. 😋

Happy Sunday! NOM NOM, this was delicious!!!! A little on the cold side, they were busy...Seahawk game...but the flavor was amazing! The Egg Foo Young sauce was little plain for my taste but excellent after I added a packet of the soy sauce they give you:) Thank you Mandarin Kitchen!!!!

I moved here from the east coast a few years ago. I was surprised that so many Chinese places in the area were so bad. I tried places in Bremerton, Federal Way and Seattle. I figured Tai Tung, with it's Bruce Lee endorsement, would be a winner, but nah. I had given up on good Chinese out here, until Mandarin Kitchen was recommended. Despite my skepticism, it was good. It was really good! It is among the best I've had! We had hot, fresh orange chicken on our table literally within five minutes of sitting. It actually tasted like orange, and consisted of lightly battered chicken rather than breading with a hint of chicken. We had also ordered lo mein, fried rice and honey walnut prawns. They were all delicious. We're definitely coming back, and passing by all the other Chinese places in Federal Way to come here instead. There are any number of great, authentic Chinese places in the area but when it comes to Americanized Chinese this is the only place I will go to

I don't know. It's best to call beforehand
Limited seating, regular cleaning and all staff wearing masks. You must have a mask on when moving around but can be removed when seated.
No, they don't have American foods available for order, their menu only offers Chinese food.
Yes, there's a small happy hour menu in the bar but I believe the dining room closes between lunch and dinner on weekdays. Dinner service & full menu items aren't served until 3:00pm regardless of where you sit, with no lunch service on Saturday. Monday's they're closed for family time.
