Went today, 8/10, Wednesday morning around 9:45 am. Immediately got in, sat down for five minutes and was called back. Window #2 guy was efficient and super nice. Was out in about 20 minutes. Parking behind building was plentiful. AC was blasting inside. Great experience!! Highly recommend!

Liars and deceivers. My mom hasn't been able to get ss help for a year now. She is given an appointment by phone each time. But it doesn't work. They either do not call or the connection is interrupted and you have to wait again for several months. That's just terrible.

Went in to office in Kent for name change and never received card. I have called this office and was told they would send it again and still do not have the card. I then called again and to much time has passed so I have to go in and reapply? Frustrating! I will not go back to that office!

I came here today just to update my daughters middle name, filled out the form online was then told they won’t accept my documents just to update the name on my daughters card. I wish I took her name down but she was at window 4(04/27/2022). I literally told her how to do her job because she said she couldn’t access my form but she input the control number wrong. Basically brushed it off making it like it wasn’t a big deal or any of her concern and acted as if she had some empowerment. She told me “you can just come back tomorrow” we live an hour away my husband had to meet me after he got off work just to sit with the kids in the car because I tried to be considerate of not having them there in the waiting room. Definitely needs to be more informed on how to perform her job if someone has to tell her how to do it. Also social security should make it extremely clear on what they take or don’t take instead of having people wasting their time. Update: went to a different office & they accepted the original documents I had. Don’t go here if you want to deal with people who don’t know how to perform their job correctly or just want to make your life harder. Take the time to train your employees better. That being said go to the puyallup office way better customer service, extremely professional & efficient.

You can make an appointment by phone, online, or speaking to someone in the office.
I got citizenship, need to update in system, for that need a appt. Or we should call??
Can I change my direct deposit online?
Can I apply for social security number online?
The Kent office?
Check the website of office hours
How do I make an appt to change my direct deposit?
Lost my Medicare cards
Yes, the office has workers in it for people who have appointments. Plus there are 2 security officers on duty 1 downstairs and 1 up.
Try calling when they open at 9
No only by phone
At 8pm
Online
They usually don't take appointment reservations unless it's for a specific reason. Their website has more info. The wait was not long for a name change I did.
It’s free to get a replacement card but there is a limit as to how many in a year.
You will need to go online to set up an appointment to go in inperson.
Yes in side
Yes. They will only let you in the door if you have an appointment or are dropping off paperwork.
Your local office is where you send it, I just completed this task myself.
Social security. Gov
It completely depends. You can retire any time you want.. your full retirement age for social security depends on you year of birth, but if you were born after 1960 the full benefit age is 67
Nop
Yes.
Call in
Kent
It's been pretty quick for me but quicker if u go in person
Ya
https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02771 They do not currently schedule appointments online.
Here is the link to the page on SSA's site. https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/survivors/#:~:targetText=If%20you%20need%20to%20report,person's%20death%20to%20Social%20Security.
No you just sign in and get a number. The wait can be long so don't make any other plans.
Take all documents including doctor statement and letters down to social security. Plan to wait for a couple of hours but worth the wait. Never go on a mon, Friday or beginning of the month. Wednesday early morning is good. Good luck!
Hello, what is your question?
No. Closest one is in Kent at Kent Station.
You will have to go in person to apply and the card will be mailed to you in less than 2weeks
Go to ssa.gov
You can always walk in without and appointment and still be see. If you dont feel the person seeing you ia helpful you can always ask for supervisor if you feel you not helped. I hope that helped.
Yes a income statement for ssi benefits
I wrote wrong, My dad came to US on Jan 20, 2019. How long we will receive the social security numbers card?
If disabled and eligible for Medicare - SSA If disabled and low income - DSHS If needed medical insurance - https://www.wahealthplanfinder.org/ Other situation - search Google for charity help, free medical or dental clinics, etc.
For majority of routine questions you don't have to have appointment. Waiting time is usually long, up to two hours. For some issues (like applying for benefits) you need to schedule an appointment. Sometimes a month in advance
No. They have a drop box inside the office. Just check with guard on duty when entering.
No
Go to new bank and open account then call ss and give them routing number and new account number if you call by the 4th.of month with new information your check should be put in new account the next month but it could that up to 2month so dont close old account until check start going into new account hope this helps you I change my account this year and that what I had to do good luck
Sorry, I don't have fax. Do you have come questions for me?
Can i make a appointment phone appointment Please
9am to 4pm
Easiest way if you already have a number is to go online. www.ssa.gov. Create an account and request a replacement card.
I believe so, if am not wrong. If you last name is going to be on your DL as well. It doesnt take long to get the change done.
Yes
Go to the SS office, have documentation of your identity and they will process you a new SS card.
Read the website. They have their office hours available.
Depends where you live. On your computer, type social security administration near me. It should pop up your nearest location.
Visit the SS office. A social security representative can help you.
Go back and get another
Depends upon how much you have put in over the years. SS has a 'how much SS will I receive each month' calculator on the website. That will give you a good idea of the income you will receive.
Go into your local social security office and request a change of address form. Fill it out and put in their “drop box”. Once that is completed they should send you a letter of confirmation for change of address. If you dont hear anything in a week or two, go in and fill it out and wait to hand it to someone at a window. That should solve the issues. I have a copy of a blank one I can fax/email you as well if need be. Let me know
Yes, or walk- in and wait
Talk with a SS representative. They will be able to clear up the problem.
Try on their website to apply for a new card. If the transaction doesn't go through, you will have to visit the SS office to obtain the SS card.
Yes just got to ss and apply
