Luis is a life saver. Came the very next day when I called him anxiously having recently moved into our new home and discovering water damage left by the previous owners most likely during the rent back period via the negligent use of a leaky washer. He quickly inspected the area and got the ball rolling over the week cutting up the area both above in the laundry room floor and below in the garage ceiling thoroughly drying up the exposed surfaces and then referred me to the contractor who reinstalled the flooring, sideboards and the drywall and made it all better than what it was originally. Throughout the process, I appreciated his explanations and reassurances (I was mostly worried about structure integrity and mold risk given I have a toddler) and he was able to instill confidence in me that by the time they are done, it would be as good or better than before and it indeed was! He also directly worked with the insurance folks to process the claim. Thanks Luis and keep up the great work!

PuroClean really helped us out! We had a huge leak in the crawl space of our house. I called them and they were able to come out the next day and review the damage. I was given a clear understanding of the issue, what the next steps would be, cost and timeline. All the damage was removed, the surfaces were sprayed with an anti-fungal to prevent mold, then the space was dried and aired out. Once all the moisture was gone, they replaced the insulation. Our crawl space looked better than before the accident. They cleaned up everything and it looks fantastic now. Every step of the way, I knew what was happening. The communications were excellent and I can't imagine working with any other company. I highly recommend PuroClean. They took a scary situation for a homeowner and made us feel protected and cared for. 11 out of 10 rating!

I would highly recommend Puroclean for any water damage cleanup and remediation services. We were contacted within a couple hours of me submitting my request on their website, and they were able to come out within 24 hours. Luis G. was very knowledgeable about the damage and professional throughout the entire process. He came multiple times to ensure things were drying out properly make sure things were running smoothly, and gave us tips on the insurance claim process.

We had a water leak in our house due to a refrigerator pipe crack. Luis was extremely professional in dealing with the situation, he gave us a good estimate and a project plan. He also coordinated talking to insurance and made it hassle free for us. We had to do some repair work and did not know contacts. He helped us recommend us another company who helped us do the hardwood, drywall fixes and coloring. Within 2 weeks the situation was back to normal. I would highly recommend puroclean for their professionalism

Questions & Answers

Can I inspect my house after a fire?

Legally, only a licensed inspector like a structural engineer or industrial hygienist can determine the safety of a building. Besides, the risk of checking the fire damage yourself is too great. Call a professional.

What is black mold?

"Black Mold" refers to stachybotrys chartarum (Stachy). Stachy is somewhat common in very warm, very humid environments - much less common where it is cooler and/or dryer. Hundreds of different molds (and mildews) are "black." It is impossible to identify molds by "looking at them." It takes a laboratory to determine the specific species.

Can water cause damage to laminate flooring?

Yes. Water can cause swelling, warping, delamination, and joint line separation, but it is best to contact an emergency restoration specialist to make the final determination before assuming that the laminate is damaged.
