Just moved here a month ago. I’ve visited the annex 4 times for them to set up my mail to my new address. 4 weeks and they STILL haven’t fixed this issue. Zero stars.....seriously, zero.

I live at 445 North Yenlo Street Apt B Today the postman threw my MTA envelope into someone else's mailbox, my neighbors brought my letter! Today is May 09, 2022. I beg the post office administration to please fire the postmen who work extremely negligently and have done this problem many times already.

I just tryed to call the number given for the annex. It was a recording... fine. When I tryed the # prompt it said the number was invalid. I was calling about a package that should have been here on Wednesday. Got a text from company I ordered from said it was delayed. Looked at tracking for order, says it's in Wasilla. Been there since Wednesday...still not delivered or even a slip to come pick it up. What gives? Been reading more and more about how people are not getting their items and or mail. Something needs to be done to fix this on going problem!

Watched mail carrier fly down the street and pull up to the mail box. Go out later to get the mail and there is a notice in the box that they made 1st attempt to deliver a package! Really? Try coming to the house and ring the bell next time. Wasn't aware that we're suppose to stand by the mail box on the street to get our packages now.

Questions & Answers

Wondering if anyone answers phone or if just taken off hook and that’s why there is non stop busy signal. Not very good customer service!

I called and it was busy. Called back and it rang non stop. I went through four cycles of this and just gave up. I will be going there in person.

I am not getting my mail. It is being returned to sender. What's up. I was getting it up to two weeks ago. I will make some phone calls on Monday. I hope this type of thing doesn't happen often and can get resolved.

Actually Route 33 got a new carrier a couple of weeks ago. She is cleaning up the mess from the previous carrier still, but she is very capable and very good at her job. There are a couple of other routes that lost their carriers as well but I don't know the numbers of those off the top of my head. Sorry about the problems you're having with your mail

If I am paying to have a package delivered to my physical address, why do I have to spend my time and gas to go get it it from the annex?

UPS and FED EX both use USPS to fly mail they don't want you to know this...i dont have a post office in big lake we have a crook running a transfer station ..so either they screw up my mail or the junkies steal it either way big lake is screwed mail-wise.i have to drive 7 miles to my mailbox instead of having one in front of my home where there is a paved road and a school bus stop...like 99.9% of all other americans, so we are held hostage by brad fischer.the scumbag.

My post cards are returning to me from legit Wasilla address saying "no receptacle found" when there IS a receptacle in Stone Creek Subdivision off Engstrom and Flint Streets. My kids get mail there DAILY !! How can we best address this issue ??

You have to go to the post office annex and register your mailbox. You need ID and a utility bill in your name for that address showing you really do live there. I only know this because I have had to go through the same rigmarole.

Can I pick up package scheduled for delivery from this office?

As long as they are for your delivery area and the mailman has given you a pick up slip.
