I have never been more 'abused' by a Dr. I have experience with pain management physicians, after I was stricken with RA. I have other issues, but I made it clear that ALL of my joints were in severe pain. And, that I would need medicine. After making me jump a plethora of hoops, all of which I did successfully, including Behavioral...psychology, I was given a fraction of the amount of pain medicine I had been taking. And, was subsequently told their goal was to get one off pain medicine altogether. I paid out approximately $1000. for all the appts at their clinic, not including the psych appts that I was covered for by another insurance I had. What a scam! I was soon angry...Dr. Hong is a real A...... and does not care about patient. Just money! Stay away...you will regret going to this clinic. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I've been a patient for well over 10 years and for all those years have been treated poorly. They don't listen to you. They're pushy and in a hurry to move on to the next patient. They change your medications without consulting you. Other patients I've ran into aren't thrilled going there, they talk about if you get a fill in doctor the first thing they do is change your medications. They want you on their program, not what helps you. I don't recommend it but everyone is treated differently so maybe you'll have a positive experience, roll the dice and find out, just have a back up plan.

Husband went to this clinic for a few years. On a Workers Comp injury. When they found out he would no longer take opiates he was told there was nothing more they ciykd do for him. He had ac5 minute appt and charged the insurance company over Three hundred dollars. Pain clinics are useless and all of them should be closed down. They are legal pushers or opiates and a major cause of the opiate crisis.

The doctors and staff at this clinic have been exceptional in helping me cope with my chronic back pain. They offer solutions other than just pain medication. They listen to my concerns and troubles with a sympathetic ear and are always willing to offer suggestions and solutions to my issues. They have been a god send in helping me deal with chronic pain. Thank you so much for all you do, it has improved my quality of life!!!!

I've been with them for 3 years, but have been on a pain plan for 17 years. I was very unhappy with them for a long time, but I look back and see that all of the changes that were made were to help me. I feel better now than I have in the last 20 years. Go in with an open mind and a goal, they'll discuss your options and they'll get you there. Give them a chance and be calm. The more heated you get the more addicted you look! I worked in a pain clinic for a while, you have to understand the number of people that are there to get more drugs than they need. It's very hard to tell the people that need the meds from the addicts and it's their careers on the line. They MUST follow Washington State guidelines. They're not trying to hurt you.

Take state insurances?

Yes they do but for a heads up. They focus on getting off pain meds. But they have wonderful new thing to help in reduction of pain. I have had chronic pain for 12 years an I am thankful for the opportunity to get off the pills.

Do you know if any patients are really helped at this office?

Until now I thought things were going well. However due to a scheduling issue I was given an appointment 6 weeks out, with a 28 day supply of meds and the PROMISE of a refill on day 28. Total lie. Day 29 is now past. I called at noon yesterday and 2 phone calls today have NOT resulted in a refill. Lesson learned.... They clearly DON'T CARE and their word means NOTHING
