I just wanted to give a big shout out to Angie! My 2 year old son is autistic and non verbal, she took her time to make sure that he was comfortable the whole time we were in her chair. She was kind and patient with him. I've been to multiple salons to get his hair cut and she by far exceeded my expectations. 10/10 would recommend this salon and Angie.

I've been going to the Lacey GC for years with pretty good and friendly service. However, lately I have to drop a couple stars. Stylist was not very friendly and prices went up again. For some reason they switched to clippers instead of scissors without asking. Got them back on scissors but stylist didn't seem happy about it. Last couple haircuts didn't really go well... I'll probably be looking for a new shop. No, I'm not going to email customer service.

I just got my autistic son's haircut. The stylist I would give 5 star but for manager I would NOT even given one star. Jen should NOT be manager role. She is not friendly to disable person or family. Jen is Not friendly or welcoming. Jen is harsh, and telling us in front of my 20 year old at the end of hair cut he may not come back if he touch anything. My autistic som saw water bottle and so he sprayed his hair with water bottle, and then water got on his hair so he grabbed the towel. On top of towel was shaver and when my son grabbed the towel the shaver fell onto ground. I was horrified and worried and felt bad. I ask if damage and she said it got out of alignment and then used the shaver to cut my son's hair with pleasing personality and was really nice to my son and the parents. I would pay for any damage but sheer was working. The hair stylist Rikki is amazing and wonderful and did fabulous job. Jen the manager is abrupt, sharp and mean to us in front of everyone including my son telling us that haircut can't be done next time. Jen need customer service training and she should NOT work in a manager position. Accidents happen and we were already feeling bad she didn't have to be so cruel. She did NOT even introduce herself as manager and fail to even greet us. She need training on social skill how to greet customers and making them welcome. Jen will drive her employees and customers away. If she treated us this way imagine how she would treat other customers and people of disabilities/family and employees. Jen is NOT customer friendly especially toward disabled Autistic adults. I hope I never see her again and I will never take my son as long as Jen is manager there. I did leave $20 tip and my phone number to call me and I will pay for any damage or cost of equipment. Please Great Clip, replace the Jen manager to someone who is welcoming and customer friendly. Clarification. It was not water bottle but water spray bottle that hair stylist use. (I try to add word spray but was unable)

My boyfriend went in and got his haircut by a lady who's license was expired in January of 2021. We are getting maternity photos done and he had been growing his hair out all winter and this was his first haircut of the year. He went in with a picture with a fade and long hair on the top that we could style. The lady was rushing so bad cut literally all his hair off he barely has any hair it looks like a short military hair cut. She asked to take off 2 Inches and took off way more than that. She spent the entire time talking to someone else instead of paying attention to his hair and he and I are both so incredibly upset. We will now have to wait a couple weeks for the photos because of his hair. We will not be returning back.
