Made reservations for 7:00 pm. At 7:30 finally managed to get a few slices of bread. Three out of four drinks ordered finally arrived. Several parties seated after us already got their food. The waitress is unapologetic, and tells us how busy they are. I've lost my apetite and decided to not eat anything. One of the meals was barely edible.I will not come here again.

Ajax is officially our favorite on the Peninsula. Incredible setting overlooking the water. Great menu and wine list, and friendly service. Couldn't ask for more. (And it is far less expensive than comparable restaurants). Truly a local gem.

I need more stars than just 5! This was my first time going to AJax to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, YUM! I rarely order a steak out at dinner because my husband makes the best steaks and I’m usually disappointed. I had the best steak at AJax (3 of us ordered steak). My husband had the ribs, he said that they were perfect with no fat on them. The others ordered the salmon dinner and the pork tenderloin, which they said were both very good. Our server, I think her name was Coleen, very friendly and attentive. We had a great night. I can’t wait to celebrate my birthday dinner there in a few weeks! Oh, I almost forgot… that key lime pie. YOU HAVE TO ORDER IT! If you’re too full, get it to go!

Completely off the beaten path, has a locals only vibe. Only had the biscuits and gravy, but it was outstanding. Pricing was very reasonable. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Well worth the visit if in the area and hungry.
