Stay away from this hotel it’s ABSOLUTELY awful! The good reviews have to be lies! I booked two rooms as a stoping point from a long road trip. Even though we were so exhausted we couldn’t sleep once we got there. The hotel lighting was really dark, the hallways looked like something out of the shinning movie the hallways were so hot not air conditioned they had floor fans to move hot air around. The smell was disgusting and once we got in our rooms it was even worse! Both rooms smelled of mildew terribly when we inspected the air conditioning units they had in the room had mold all in them so we couldn’t turn them on! The wall paper was peeling up with mold as well. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor if you can avoid it don’t take the elevator was scary it jerked around, went very slow, didn’t count the floors, and the door would barley open. When you stepped out of the elevator the carpeted floor felt like there was a hole in the ground and the floor felt like it was moving. We would have left but we didn’t get in until 1am I also pre-book and paid a head of time. Definitely learned my lesson.

Avoid at all costs. We had a full car and I am disabled and there were NO carts to bring in our luggage. Well, actually there was a cart behind the desk, but neither of the desk crew (2 people) wanted to move the items on it. It took my husband 4 trips bringing in all our belongings. And you do NOT want to leave your belongings in your car as this is a questionable area. The room said "non-smoking," yet the aroma of cigarette smoke hangs in the room. Additionally, aside from the cigarette aroma, it also has the faint odor of urine. You get 2 double beds, not queen, and they are not comfortable. The fan in the bathroom is painfully loud. The outlets by the bed do not work, so don't even consider charging anything and they are assuredly not into the 21st century with power outlets for electronic equipment. And there is no streaming option on the TV with a very limited selection. And the microwave was filthy. Far too expensive for this area and this type of third-rate hotel. Free parking, though! My opinion: Go to the Hampton Inn, which I wished we booked.

Front desk lady was rude and just overall very unfriendly. The pool area was beyond disgusting. Wet food, dirt, and random debris literally everywhere. The entire facility was dirty. Looked almost like an abandoned hotel. I stayed here a few years and ago and it was beautiful. Now, not so much. Very dirty, some things seemed unsafe, also seemed to have been neglected long term. Biggest issue was the unfriendly workers. It made asking questions, or needing assistance, awkward and awful. If ZERO stars were an option, that’s what I’d give. Absolutely would not recommend and will never stay here again

This is my home away from home. Staff feels like family. Very clean rooms. Only downside is that Covid caused major changes to dining and website isn't updated. Doesn't bother me because plenty of dining within walking distance but website definitely needs updating.

No they do not. There are safety boxes at the front desk.
I'm not aware of anything happening in the hotel. Now the trailer park not too far from the hotel there was a murder suicide in 2014 sometime in the summer.
