Great place for the family. Nice play set for the kids when they are not in the water. Nice swimming area. Lots of open areas for other activities. The only down fall is lots of goose poop.

short easy gravel trail .5 miles to the waterfall is beautiful. climbing down to the bottom of the waterfall is a pretty steep trail but has a small rope to hang on to while going down

Beautiful! It was a quiet day. The water was crystal clear. I'm sure it is quite busy in the summer for swimming.

Amazing views, nice and quiet area, great surrounding, located away from the big cities, surrounded by hills and lake, the park is very well provisioned with anything needed for an outdoor recreation: beach on the lake and boat-ramp, trail through the forest with a waterfall at the end, playground, parking for about 500 cars, open areas and shaded areas, restrooms, benches, etc. It is a fee park, but it is worth spending the time here.

No
Dogs are allowed but not in the beach area
Not really. There is a spot for swimming but it is limited since the Merwin Dam is located right next to this park. There is a waterfall not too far from there as well. But if you want to go onto the lake with a boat, the other end of the lake would be your best bet.
No, there aren't
They didn't let my friends dog play in the water on the main drag we had to go down to the boat launch and that's where we could let him be in the water
Merwin park is a day use only park. There is no boat launch there. With its proximity to the dam and generator station there is no launching of kayaks, canoes, or any other personal water craft allowed.
Yes
