Very rude customer service over the phone, I understand working in customer service can be extremely frustrating, but there is no need to take it out on other callers who are looking for simple clarification. For anyone reading who may be looking to get a certificate that never came that was ordered through Vital Chek, or a refund for one.. call the Vital Chek customer service directly. Turns out they may be able to help out rather than forcing you to pay for a new order.

Had to pick up a copy of my daughter’s birth certificate that I ordered online. Aside from having to pay a really big fee for a third-party to process it, I found going to pick it up a super easy experience. Park in the garage attached to the building. If there is no line and you can get in and out of there in 30 minutes, you don’t have to pay parking. The person at the helpdesk was very kind and it was super easy.

For no reason the person on the phone started yelling on me. Perhaps I didn’t understand the first time. Maybe I'm a pretty stupid customer. But an employee of a state institution should not yelling at another person no matter what his client is. Be a human first!

I was in and out in 3 minutes with my birth certificate. I arrived at 4:45pm and no one was in waiting room. There was ample space and it was clean. Service was fast, efficient, and pleasant. Good job King County!

Yes. Renton is in King county, so this is the right place to go.
hello, you can request your birth certificate online through vitalchek, which is what King County's vital statistics recommend. https://www.vitalchek.com/birth-certificates/washington/public-health-seattle-and-king-county
Yes you can either find an application online and send it in or I'm not sure if you can file it online?
Yes, death certificates can be ordered from the lobby of King County Vital Statistics. They are 20.00 per copy.
It depends if the will was registered in the deceased person's county I think. If it was registered with the courts, you may be able to request from the probate court or from the attorney that submitted the will. Right now, most government offices are only taking requests by mail or phone and are closed for walk in services such as this office in Seattle. This office does not handle wills.
If you order it by 10am over the phone, you can pick it up in person the same day from 1 - 3pm. Monday - Friday. The cost I believe is $40.50
There are google search sights where you can look up varying information. These sights are in no way affiliated or connected with Google.
