I was born in Seattle Naval Hospital in 1946 and I was issued a Naval Hospital birth certificate that California will not accept for a California Real Id. I was told they require a government birth certificate. Where could I get one?

You should be able to obtain a copy of your birth certificate through King County Vital Statistics. The department's records go back as far as 1907 and cover every hospital in Seattle and King County.
