We get to the hotel an 45 mins after check in time and our room is still not ready. They tell my wife it will be an hour until the room is ready. I go in and let them know we are from out of town and we have kids in the car. How is our 3pm check in room not ready at 3:45pm. Then he says he will check to see if the room is ready. 2 minutes later the room is ready. Of course is not really ready as many items was not fully clean. Service was not up to standard for our family. Your best was not good enough. No worries we will go to a different hotel next visit.

We travel a lot for kids sports. Most hotels are similar except the ones that are bad. Our stay at Holiday Inn in Mason Ohio was enjoyable and the difference was the staff. The rooms were comfortable, lots of space, we had work to do while in town for soccer tournament. The work space was very nice, large desk/work area. The breakfast was good. When I checked in around 12midnight, exhausted I was warmly greated by a young man I think named Caleb. His friendly attitude, and warm welcoming was appreciated. A few hours later at breakfast, I was dreading the fact that there appeared to be another boys high school age soccer team, 2- jump rope teams, and my son's soccer team. I thought I will have to go out and find something for my son to eat before his game because everything will be gone or not stocked. I was surprised and shocked. The lady working the breakfast did a fantastic job. Handled all the teams/families/customers personal requests along with keeping everything stocked and clean. The next day we had to leave early before breakfast was served and I had the pleasure of having conversation with Caleb at the front desk again. The managment and training at this location shows they are making a difference. Sometimes we see customer service fall off, but not at this location. Well done, and give Caleb and the lady handling breakfast and extra bonus or gift card. PS our room was cleaned well, and check out was friendly and easy. Thank you...PS I even used washer on dryers on the 2nd floor no problems.

We stayed one night from Minnesota to celebrate Kings Islands 50th birthday. Very convenient to KI and a variety of restaurant choices. The staff at this hotel was very good and room rate more than reasonable. Room was very clean, large and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was quite average but good enough. Gale who was working the breakfast was very friendly making sure our needs were met. The biggest issue was our toilet. The floater got stuck so water kept running until we physically stopped it. We did let front desk staff know when we checked out.

We stayed here to visit King’s Island. It was for a special occasion and they upgraded the room we stayed in for free. This was such a nice and unexpected treat. The rooms are very clean, and spacious. I always look for a pool, fitness center and breakfast and they have all three. There is a nice dining area for families to eat at, and breakfast was very good!
