Very nice owner. Reasonably priced, but bring cash as they do not take debit, credit or checks. Did a great job repairing my granddaughters boots and my boots. When I need another pair of shoes repaired I will be going back to this shop! The sole of these boots came completely off after wearing only one time. Hope the repair lasts longer than what the manufacturers quality. I did send the manufacturer an email requesting reimbursement for the repair since I had just purchased and what would be the point of an exchange!?

Dealing with It

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop my review from 4 stars to 1. I've been getting toe protectors for my boots there for many years but last time when I went to pickup my boots they were sitting there with a for sale tag on them. And now the price is much higher and he wanted to be paid in advance. I just can't trust the guy that far. I'm done with this place. _____ old review below _____ Good enough. There is a language barrier since the guy is extremely Asian and difficult to understand. He does good work though. I had some toe soles glued onto my steel toed boots and I'm happy with the work. I've gone back there again to have another pair of boots worked on.

A notice to anyone who needs any shoe repair do not use him. He's a compulsive liar he promise he will have your shoes done in two 2wks. Its been over 2.5mos since i drop off my shoes with him... I have spoke to him 5x over the phone and he will tell you to stop by Friday or Saturday. Funny thing is hes never there at the shop. Also if you are person of color dont use him at all he will demand that you pay him up front before he will work on your shoes. I watch him take a non person of color shoes without payment 2x and told them to pay when finish... He needs to be shut down i dont know whats his problem but its clear he cant run a business anymore... Get a written receipt made and have him sign it. The problem is he only accepts cash and will not give receipt showing proof of payment.

Never open when it should be.... even the door says it should be open.... it's not.... Probably why he's 10 days late getting my shoes repaired for an astronomical price... he's never there.... if you have another option.. I'd take it. Definitely don't do it if you need repairs by a specific date.. you'll be disappointed and shoeless I moved it up a star.... I picked up my shoes and they are better than new!! He really did an unexpectedly great job!! Far exceeded my expectations! So if you have time to wait for your repair.... he's golden.
