I had a good experience with Twin Harbor Recycling. I brought in a truck load of cans. I had to wait for two other customers. First to finish up and second customer who also had a truck load. I went up to see how things went. The center has garbage cans to load with your cans to be put on the scale. So bring gloves if you don't want to get dirty. The main guy I had an interaction with spoke minimal English. But tried. The gentleman was genuinely helpful and respectable.

Not sure about the shredder, only 15 cents a lb for aluminum. 30 cents in Aberdeen
Obviously, they are not going to answer this question so I will, and from what I have seen yes they do take scrap.
You can bring any type of metal, copper, brass, appliances, etc... Cars if you have title
