All the people that work here are so nasty! The service is messed up and we had to take bus instead, these people had my child and I running back and forth, they did not help us and on top of everything gave us attitude for asking questions. People need to leave their bitter lives at home or get a job you don't need to deal with the public.

This station is great for getting to places outside of Hartford! Peter Pan & Greyhound stop regularly to go out in either direction of NY or MA multiple times a day! The Valley Flyer, Hartford Line, and Vermonter stop here as well and go both northbound and southbound! Around the station, and a short walk south to Bushnell Park, you'll find both local and intercity buses operated by CTtransit! It goes without saying here that you'll find plenty of transportation options! It's a great place for that! I will say whenever I try to use the vending machines here half of the are out of order, the bathroom hasn't been the cleanest in my experience, and if you want food outside of Subway, you'll have to go downtown to find something. Overall, this station is great for finding your next travel connection, but I can definitely feel that this station definitely had more to it once upon a time.

You can use the Amtrax train service, or the Peter Pan buses $ 75 round trip, Greyhound $ 82 round trip, these prices include fees and may also vary because sometimes the trips have up to $ 5 discount. But how you would get out of Hartford is cheaper for you. Buses arrive at New York Port Authority, as does the train. When you buy the ticket online, you can even validate if the bus makes a stop before arriving in New York.
Go on their website and check Or you can also call them.

15.00 a day other rates can be found on their website. It is Spruce St Propark lot
This station does not provide a direct train to NYC, but you can catch a connecting train through to NYC from New Haven Union Station. There are buses from this station that will go direct to NYC, Peter Pan Bus Lines is the one I recall.
Yes, use the entrance around the back, next to the parking lot.
Without layovers, its about 45 minutes from Hartford to new haven by train, and about an hour and a half from New haven to New York by train. So 2.15 hours or so? Likely around the same time by car
7 days a week you have access to get to NewYork by train or bus. You decide what is the best time for you. I prefer to go home on Sundays, there is not much traffic and the buses arrive faster. The train remains at normal speed. Whenever I visit a city, I returned on Sunday.
Airlines will tell you after you call them.
Not that I know of. I'd recommend earlier as most transfers have a about an hour + difference between trains
Would be best if you call them or checked online.
There is a covered area which is the raised platform where you catch the trains
Google map that. Many options on how to get from point A to B.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need to have your small pet in a small cage or bag. From union station hartford to new haven union station where you can connect to NYC. Via Metro North or Amtrak
Depends on where you're parking and what company lot you use. Propark.com you can check out there parking lot and rates for various lots across hartford

I think you have to go to New Haven first, then take an Acela train or something to get to Boston.
By train amtrak to Penn station (New York) is 46 dollars and by bus with Peterpan or Greyhound from 12 to 20 dollars if you buy online in advance.
By train NY, New Haven, Hartford. Or maybe by bus.
Yes, it is across the street. $2 per 30 mins, with a max of $15 for 24 hours.
