Today I was verbally assaulted by an officer in a Pierce County Sheriff vehicle. He didn't even have the audacity to pull me over, instead erratically drove up to my driver window and signaled for me to roll the window down. Once down, he cussed at me, making sure to intimidate me with whatever power he thinks he has. Because I was stopped in the middle of the street, with my window down, getting yelled at, I almost got hit. I have ptsd from 11 car accidents and he really ruined my entire morning. No respect and very unprofessional. Being new to the area, this ultimately sucks since I came from a place where the officers were heros and had respect for people.

Walked into the building this morning after a very scary situation that I encountered with a man who ran into the back of my jeep at a stop light. No damage what so ever to either vehicle, but when I got out of the car to check for any damage the man got overly irrate with me in the middle of the road, screaming at me, telling me it was all my fault because I had a bike rack on the back of my jeep. It really scared me because I could tell he was not of sound of mind. Once I arrived at the Sheriffs Dept, the gentlemen at the front desk greeted me very kindly and once explaining what had just happened, he seemed to really care about what I had gone through. After asking him if he could look at my bike rack on my jeep to make sure it was all in legal limitations (because I was now confused as the man kept screaming at me telling me the bike rack should not be there and that it was illegal) the officer/clerk walked outside to take a look. The officer/clerk informed me all was good and that it was installed legally and correctly. What a nice guy, it really made me feel safe and secure with our Community knowing I have a safe place to run to in any emergency. What a nice guy! Whoever you were, as I did not get your name. Thank You!

My son was abducted by my ex-girlfriend (Not my son's mother and has no custodial rights) and taken from me while I was away. I tried to file a report with a Deputy and after waiting 30 minutes for the Deputy to arrive and another 30 minutes for him to assist someone else who randomly showed up, he called my ex and told me my son was with her and it's a CPS matter. He gave me a card with his name and badge number and "case number" Everything I have read in regards to the RCW's in this matter point to kidnapping, and unlawfully detaining a minor/child. I e-mailed the Deputy asking for an update about the case with no answer. Ironically I saw the Deputy at a gas station and asked him what was going on, and he told me that he handed it over to CPS, and it's out of his hands. Checked with CPS and no records or cases were open or filed. I went to the Tacoma Sheriff's Department and filed another report and was told something completely different. I am still without my son and have no idea where he is at and it seems no-one in the Pierce County Sheriff's Department cares if your child is taken from you. I am beyond upset and will be looking into a private investigator to handle this if they won't.

You probably want to contact someone like Department of Transportation.
There is a Remote Kiosk at the location for Domestic Violence Protection Orders (only) at this location. Non-Domestic Violence orders (for Pierce County residents) may be obtained at the County Courthouse, in Tacoma.
No. You would need to contact South Sound 911-Records (SS911) for information regarding fingerprinting.
No. You need to go to the South Sound 911 location in downtown Tacoma. It is across the street from the court house.
