Nov 4th was a windy rainy day and I had an appointment at 430 pm, in which I was 3 minutes late. The staff had already decided to cancel my appointment before I came in. They said I was suppose to be there 15 minutes before scheduled time, which I was not told. Nobody was in the waiting room, I guess they just wanted to leave early. Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Zandnia in Spanaway the next week. His nurse Cheryle was extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Zandnia stayed for an hour to talk with me about my medical needs. The receptionist in Spanaway was very welcoming and helpful also. The Puyallup branch actually helped me get better service and care by turning me away. Would would never recommend the Puyallup branch.

If I could rate lower than a one star I would. My daughter saw Sofia Kolesnikova, ARNP to establish care. The typical "get to know you" questions were asked and answered providing Sofia a complete history. Within that history it was disclosed that our daughter had severe anxiety, especially meeting new people and in unfamiliar settings, it was also disclosed when aske why her pupils were so dilated (records were on hand disclosing a diagnosis from her ophthalmologist as well as all medical records confirming medical history provided). Our daughters heart rate was a little rapid and of course her pupils were dilated as usual. At the end of our appointment, Sofia ordered lab work to gather "baseline" labs. Not thinking anything of it, why would we, we had the labs done. About a week later we received a copy of the lab results indicating all labs were normal. However, there were two labs that were run and billed to our insurance without being discussed with us--a pregnancy and a drug test! Furious I called the office to find out why these tests were run without our consent. After numerous calls and messages left for Sofia we NEVER received a call from her. During the last call, another nurse explained that Sofia must have had a medical reason to suspect both tests to be run, I explained that's not good enough, I wanted to talk to Sofia and want to know why...I also told this nurse that we want the charges removed from our account as we didn't approve of the tests being run. I can attest that at no time was it discussed with us about this being a suspicion and our daughter made it very clear that she was not pregnant, let alone ever had sex, and she under no circumstances has she ever used drugs, and I conveyed the same. Sofia took it upon herself to run medical tests without consent billing our insurance (thereby creating a history with the insurance company). We find this sort of care underhanded and completely untrustworthy. I wouldn't take any of my children, let alone myself or husband to a CHI Franciscan facility if they were the last doctor's office in the area, I'd rather drive into Seattle or well north or south of here for appropriate care. Patient be weary!!

After waiting 6 months to get into get established....i had to wait 1 month for follow up for an adhd assessment for my 7 year old son. I had surgery on my ankle 1 week ago, can not drive myself. So even though I called before my appointment and gave them a heads up I would be 5 possibly 10 mins late to my appointment. To get there and have to wait in line to check in. Then be told to hold on so she can check something. Went to back room and came back and told me i would have to reschedule. I asked what time it was, and she told me it was 11 after. Mind you I made it within the time I said. And any doctors appointment, (actually any appointment period) that I have been to has had a 15 min grace period. I am so frustrated and and broken. I dont even want to return to this office. They are heartless and did not honor proper grace period protocol.

Sorry but this was the worst health care “team” I’ve ever dealt with. Had to wait almost two months for an appt. then had horrible follow up care IF I even got called back from the office. Don’t expect a call back from Dr Rambo’s office. He has multiple assistants and apparently messages never reach his nurse or him. Was truly disappointed. Finding a PCP that will be available and cares about their patients.
