Outdated facilities, not confidential about what you share with them. Discrimination heavily present and staff ignores issue. Wouldn’t recommend if you enjoy things like heat working, being able to watch TV, exercise, being able to freely share your experiences, confidentiality, don’t being treated like you’re in prison. The good: there are some great staff members and then some that have no business being in the industry that like to flex their power. If I were to do it over again I would’ve done more research and chose a place like Prosperity, Sun Down, Holiman Treatment center in Arlington. I’m sure there’s others. The staff really needs to start empowering some of their better staff and flush out the bad.

So in less than a week from now I will be beginning my long drive from Yakima Washington to Olalla recovery center. Up until about a month ago I never herd of the place. Which was a little shocking considering how many inpatient treatment facilities I’ve been through so far. Even through my multiple incarcerations here in Washington you would think somewhere along the time I would have herd about this place through all the conversations about drug use and treatment experiences. And now here I am a week away from adventuring my way through this hidden Gem and for the first time in a long time I’m excited about where this new journey in recovery will be taking me. It’s going to be pretty awesome looking back at this review and reflecting on how lost I was before going there to how alive I will be after leaving there. The reviews I’ve read so far have been monumental in giving me the confidence I need to drive the 4 hours to a world completely different then where I’m from and giving myself the chance to develop into a new way of life. So thank you Olallah for being a huge instrument in helping Addicts become the world changers that they are. So here’s to a new friendship! Can’t wait to become part of the family and the legacy!

Queen Of quite a lot

I am stoked to be able to go inpatient at Olalla in the coming weeks. They have been incredibly kind and Informative through the process w/insurance, questions, bed date, etc. I am grateful that this will be part of my foundation to achieve and maintain my sobriety.
