Venture church is home to my family for a couple of months now and it’s such a shame we will be leaving in a couple of month as we move out of Washington state. My family will miss this church so much but we already praying we find a church we can call home as this one in our new state. From the first day of stepping into this church, the staffs are amazing, everyone is willing to help - to put into perspective, I’ve got toddler twin boys and they are a handful, from the door, we feel welcome here. You can evidently see the smile despite the mask. The teachings are what was most important to us and the church didn’t fall short. The pastors make Christianity practical to you and they make you know they are humans like you. Our lead pastor loves football and doesn’t hesitate to bring out life lessons from it which I think is a good one (though I’m no fan of American football and don’t understand most times 😃, I prefer soccer) This church is spiritual & my spirit man is awakened after every single meeting/gathering. The church also gives back to the community in a great way, I’ve volunteered a time and there was sooo much food and most importantly is the LOVE shared to the community. This is a prayer house and I pray for all the pastors (Brandon, Di & Morgan) that they continue to be strengthened with might in the inner man that they continue to boldly teach the word with abundance of miracles, testimonies and change of lives as evidence.

I didn’t feel very welcomed to this church… I had gone a couple times, and no one really acknowledged me…I’ve been struggling and wanted a place to reconnect with God, but it just didn’t make me feel very noticed. I felt non existent to them…I also wished they’d not mention so much about money ,one service I went to was at least 20 minutes of conversation about money for the church, which I understand to a certain extent…it should’nt have been a huge focus though , I get that giving And serving is what God wants but we’re there to learn more about God and Jesus, not to sit and discuss money for half the sermon that wasn’t even related to the sermon…but just cause it wasn’t a good fit for me doesn’t mean it can’t be for someone else, just hope you guys can consider this for the future, but I won’t be returning. God bless!

Wow, I don’t even know where to start with how much I love this church. Before coming to venture 2 1/2 yrs ago, I was church hopping for a while, not able to find the genuine community I was looking for. It only took one Sunday to realize this is where I wanted to be! I met my closest friends, and even my husband through this church! So thankful for the people, not to mention the Bible based preaching and incredible leadership.

When we moved to Washington, one of our priorities was to find a church home - and we found it at Venture. We felt welcomed from our first visit and right away met so many friendly and genuine people who have become friends. Venture has an incredible staff and the teaching/preaching has helped me and challenged me in my walk with Christ. Their Growth Groups are the key to a close community and Venture does this area well. I’m so glad to be a part of a church that values serving and supporting their surrounding community and also missionaries throughout the world.

They love and accept everyone as Jesus does and stand on His word and what it says realizing your relationship with God is between you and Him , I hope that was helpfuland view everyone as a child of God and that our identity is in Him as well as praying for one another and whatever struggles we all have.
